    Steering Vibration

If youre running methods, I guarrantee thats causing the imbalance. You need to get some hub centric spacers for the wheels, also, I find that torquing the wheels at 100 lb/ft, then 150 does the trick, not just going to spec torque.

need to replace front diff bushings

man I wish I took pics of this, I did it earlier this year, and it was a bit of a bitch, because of the asymetrical design, using a jack to raise and lower it can be a pain, if you can get a hand it will help big time. In order to simply remove the half shaft of your steering column, from full...

Steering issue (beating a dead horse?)

Gents I have 2010 Scab 6.2 and am having a hell of an issue finding racks for this truck. Ford says they are no longer manufactured, and they cant get remans, and everything I am finding is leading me to 2009-2010 raptors have a different steering rack. Is this the case or does the Raptor have...

Plastic pulley on Motorcraft belt tensioner? Damn!

Does the plastic pulley have recessed edges to help keep the belt straight? I have not yet had to do a tensioner, (thankfully) but on previous vehiles, I was able to press the old bearing out of the tensioner and replace it. Can we do that to the original tensioner?

    $40k gen 1 or 2

Im always weary of dealerships, and this is one of the reasons. A lot of dealers seem to be dropping the prices on the Gen 2's to obviously get rid of them, but my brain always asks, "whats in it for them?" Heck, I got down the rabbit hole, and honestly ask myself, what do they know that we...

Clunk from rear going over even bumps

I got my driveshaft replace under the recall four years ago, and now, the clunk has come back again, indicating, the plating on the slip yoke wore out. The driveshaft is a very easy remedy, $7 for the ptfe grease, and about 20 minutes and some blue Loctite. It is an easy endeavor and a process...

Clunk from rear going over even bumps

When was the last time you greased your driveshaft slip yoke? I am afraid to say that my warranty driveshaft is beginning to bind up again. Pull the shaft, and get the specified ptfe motorcraft grease on the splines. Not much oil will leak when you pull it, and grease the shit out of both...

GEN 1 Cold Weather Tips? (Canada)

That's because its a Gen 2. I haven't heard of any fires regarding the Gen 1 or 2009-2014 f150 regarding block heaters. Maybe they changed suppliers? Also a little tip if you plan on offroading the truck in the cold weather. Don't go out immediately mobb'ing your truck, it will blow the...

GEN 1 Cold Weather Tips? (Canada)

being a Canadian truck, it already has a block heater. You should have an extension to extend the harness and plug it in. Krown it big time! make sure you pull your spare so they get above it too, and ask the krown shop if they have a hoist that will take a raptor. Other than that, silicone...

Clunk from rear going over even bumps

On your drvers side all the way back by your bumper, the frame has a harmonic balancer weight. Jam a rag in it and go for a drive. See if its the culprit. I have been toying with removing mine since I wonder what it does and the bushings look a little shot. Plus the thing probably weighs the...
