Okay, I should have been more specific. Do they work with only one brand of aftermarket fender, Boatec for example, or will they work for all aftermarket fenders?
My icom, purchased from pci, came pre programmed with the most popular race frequencies. The Raptor events usually use these frequencies. You can program any of them with the right cable and your computer.
Great pics, that's the pass through I used. In your first pic you can just make out the other pass through behind the plastic jacketed wires, just below and slightly left of the main loom.
There are two holes on the passenger side. One below and slightly left of the main wiring loom pass through, and one in the wiring loom pass through itself. You will notice a small "Bubble" at the top of the wiring loom pass through. If you cut that off with a razor, you have another insulated...
The hole size is either a 3/4" hole saw or 3/8", depending on what you bought.
On my scab, I mounted the antenna towards the middle of the roof. The center rib on the roof has a flat spot just behind the sun roof, under that flat spot is the dome light. I removed the dome light for access. I ran...
I decided to pull the shaft and lube the driveshaft slip yoke myself. The splines were drier than a bone. I lubed it up with a high quality lubricant and no more clunk for now.
I have s 2010 6.2 built in April 2010 and has 44k on it. Mine has been clunking for a little while now and I have this sticker on mine.
Mine clunks on little bumps, potholes, etc.
I guess I'll try my luck with Ford first, then grease it myself if they blow me off.
A few pics from spectating the race in Ridgecrest today. Great day other than snagging a rock with the rear bumper. The flimsy bumper did more damage to the bed than I would have expected. Time to dovetail the Raptor!
Some race pics;
These guys love the Raptor, the Kern County Sheriffs...
Ah, that sunshine. My 5yo daughter put that on during last summers road trip. There is a monkey on the other side of the dash that's her handy work too.
I'm looking at replacing my mag mount and drilling the cab for the antenna. I've seen a few Raptors with the antenna mounted near the third brake light, that's the easiest place to reach. Has anybody mounted their antenna more in the center for a better ground plane? I see a nice spot right...
I just mounted my icom radio on top of my dash. I decided to mount it here because I can conceal the holes later by just replacing the rubber mat. For a cleaner install, I should have made a smaller hole in the rubber mat with a slot for the wires. I may just buy another mat to fix that.
John has been desert racing for many years, he has a lot of experience behind the wheel of race trucks. I'm withholding judgement myself. I hope that he is being truthful about this situation, the toxicology results will be telling.

I just saw Gables truck getting some new RPG stuff, Methods, and 37's installed in Thousand Oaks a few weeks ago. It's a nice (Was nice) truck, kings on it and a lot more.
Maybe now he can get a 6.2 Raptor....
