500mag- how long have you had the Recon grapplers? Any pictures of them on your truck would be appreciated - especially in 37s. They weigh in at 75 pounds- did you notice the weight increase much? Looking at t the Recon Grapplers and Coopers in 37s.
I agree with DCW Raptor 3- we do need some full truck shots with the new shoes. My Yoko M/Ts are going to need replacing soon and I am looking at the At3 xlt’s in 37s.
Dillard09: Nice looking tires - do you think the 37 will fit in the OEM spare location. I am also needing new tires and looking to make the jump to 37s. BFG intriguing since work is the 37 will fit into the OEM spare location.
BoostCreep: Are you happy with the DSC--the reviews I can find, people seem generally happy with the improvements it has made in the Live Valve response.
Thank you for the information, especially on the Element UCA--and you are correct on the smoking hot price right now through ORW.
I was also interested in the UCA angle of the SVC, but did not want to drill out my spindle either.
In regards to the E-click vs DSC--I was specifically referring...
A little late to the conversation, but how do the Element UCA's compare to the other brands out there. I notice it uses a uniball vs delta joint ICON uses. I see they are both adjustable on the truck. Also, what made you choose between the Eclick system vs the DSC.
Yes, I am running 35x12.5x17.
My tire store did not know about them either- had been selling KM3s and mostly Toyos.
Since ordering a set for my truck, one of the other guys working there has now started running them.
Currently running Yokahoma Geolander MTs- about 8k miles so far. I have been in dessert, used them in rain and snow- I have been very pleased so far.
I would definitely say put them on your list of tires to consider.
Really trying not to separate, still hoping to sell all together.
Plus, I don't have the proper boxing to ship the wheels if I wanted to.
I will keep you in mind if things change.
I agree with 500mag. Previously had RGs on my last truck, and they were nice- but currently running Yoko M/Ts and could not be happier. About the same noise level as the RGs as they wore.
