just took mine off. Truck accelerated out of the blue and scared the crap out of me. No thanks. If my wife was driving, who knows what she would have done.
I passed on the Gieser springs for this reason and went to aftermarket Fox so I could run 37's. Little spendy for sure but after recovering I am glad I went this route
pretty much every car sold has a spare tire smaller than stock. They are used to get you home or the local tire shop. I dont see the difference with the Raptor.
I run bfg 37"s on my 2018. They are km2's. The look is amazing, but my next tire will be ko2's. They are lighter and a tad smaller. Do...
thanks, they are BFG KM2's. Was going to go with the new KM3 but they dont have 37's available till later this year. I originally went with 35 toyo mt's. They were very stiff and heavy. These 37's are lighter and flex more, way better ride.
trying to figure you out. If you run 37's on a gen 2, you need to do some cutting/grinding. OK, it's not a simple bolt on but who cares? Cut and grind away, so what. There are plenty of mods people do to their toys to personalize them. Just not sure why you show the same pic over and over as if...
i ground off a little honey comb and good to go. I agree, if aftermarket fenders eliminate the honeycomb altogether, why not just grind some off and seal it up. Some black paint and call it good.
i just trimmed my honeycomb back some as even after trimming the plastic I get a small rub only on the driver side. Thought I did enough but again a very slight rub. Going to grind off some more till it clears. Also, I don't have the geiser 3" lift, my foxes only gave me about 2". I tried to add...
you may be the worst fabricator of all time, sad you ruined your truck. Want me to show you how to do it correct? Or better yet, come with us on our Baja trip in August. You can see how to set up a Raptor with 37's, no charge
i have a gen 2 with bfg 37 km2's, method 17x8.5 with zero offset, aftermarket fox 3.0.
I had to cut the plastic a little with box cutters. The fox shocks will only lift your truck about 2" from stock as they come from fox. I am going to add some pre-load to raise it another 1" and the add...
