Update - I went with the Sto-and-Sho from CJ Pony, I have one on my Mustang and it's a quality part. It helps with security IN NO WAY WHATSOEVER, but the mounting position keeps the plate from blocking airflow better than any other center mounted options I saw out there.

Yeah, my dealer is making me crazy with tire pressure. I have always run about 36 all four tires. When I go in for “the works” it always comes back in the 40s. This time I forgot to adjust it back - oops. Truck was bouncing all over the place on those washboard roads.

Back on topic - made the drive today Boulder to KC. Dropped air pressure to 40/38 before I left Boulder. Much better. Pressure when I got home (cold) dropped 2-3 lbs per tire from Boulder to KC. Eastern CO I-70 still like a washboard around mile marker 430. Pinkish highway…

Looks like Idaho also has fairly low tax rates. Running out of states to retire to - TX and ID. I am worried about TX drifting blue. Sucks, always dreamed about retiring to CO. Guess with CU Boulder out-of-state tuition I may not even get to retire at this point!

Yeah, I noticed that. Also noticed unless you have a 4-runner, Tacoma or Subaru you are not a local. Raptors are few.

That’s a good theory, you might be right. I am in no hurry to get a plate. Actually no hurry to go to the DMV. Might try the single plate life for a while.

Agree with frame comments above. I ran wire through the passenger side frame and had no issues. There is a bend near the back axle where it gets a bit tight, but it’s not that bad. I think the wire pulling part took maybe 30 minutes most of which was maneuvering my old body around under the truck.

So just noticed today my front plate has disappeared. Stolen! At least they didn’t damage the bumper. In MO a front plate is required, sucks but IT’S THE LAW. Even though it’s a Raptor, it figures I have what’s basically a black F150, probably the most common vehicle on US roads. My guess...

I am an old man lefty - over the years I just have gotten used to right handed scissors, tape measures, can openers, spiral notebooks. No big deal. I didn’t even know about left-handed tape measures until someone handed me a lefty/righty tape measure. That’s the best ever!

It’s a full replacement piece. The only overlay they do is the usb media door. Even that looks really good.
