Yes, that is true - my gauge seems to be within about -1 to the TPMS measurement. Either way, my comfort meter tells me 41 rides like a model T lumber wagon. Heading to CO this weekend so I will drop to 34F/32R or else the back of my truck will hop around like crazy on western KS I-70.

My Ford dealership consistently sets mine at 41 all the way around. I go home and drop to 36 front 34 rear cold. Rides much better. When I head west to CO I have to drop another 3 lbs per tire and it comes back up to 36/34.

I am running the same on my 2018 with Ridge Grapplers at 36/34. Dealer always sets at 40 but i get way too much hop.

38lbs might be too much depending on tires. I got a lot more hop on rough roads at 38 to 40. My dealer always sets at 40 and I have adjust down. Before replacing shocks try dropping to 34 or 35 lbs and just see if it makes a difference. Cheap easy verification.

I actually re-used the backflip from my 2013 f150 FX4 on my 2018 Raptor. The dealer told me it wouldn’t fit - I tried anyway and it has been perfect. No issues.

Changing the filter seems to help. I went to a reusable K&N with the spray cleaner and it’s helped.
