Yeah, even within the KC area there is so much BBQ debate. I like them all! Everyone’s big on Q39 or KC Joe’s these days, but LC, Bryant’s and Gates hang in there. My last trip to Gates on 40 by Arrowhead was a complete sh##show, horrible service. Shame, Gates BBQ is still spicy good!
Yep, this is correct - I was asking if it was possible to force oil to the top of the engine components without cranking - in other words a pre-start type pump. Other threads or forums alluded to this as well as some of the post on this thread (maybe).
Smarter, wiser posters have convinced me...
@Sozzy12 I remember seeing it on one or two of the hundreds of post on cam phasers - as I recall some folks did it religiously and their were a few complaints that it couldn't be done remote starting. I did a quick search but didn't find them, but I know they are out there.
To be honest I was...
Searched the forum but didn't find anything but references about this. I have read in a couple threads that when starting a Gen2:
pushing the gas pedal to the floor & holding it
pressing the start button for 5-10 seconds
steps above force oil to the top of the engine
First, I am curious if...
Very dramatic music, I thought maybe the truck was going to storm the beaches of Normandy or something.
Probably not cool to dog on anyone’s truck... it’s very well done, looks high quality and I suppose I would call it beautiful.
But that’s the problem for me - it’s a “beautiful” truck.
A woman driving a Raptor can be highly attractive.
Anyone getting preachy about my vices is never attractive.
BTW - I am in favor of this forum being open to anyone and everyone and all opinions related to the trucks should be welcome.
I am very happy with my Ridge Grapplers. I have seen many comments about lack of grip in wet conditions, but personally have not had any issues. So far been through a couple of Midwest winters, rain, snow and ice. They have been quiet and reliable. Plus they look badass.
I did lose about .5...
I swapped out my 2018 ice blue ambient lights for the multi-color LEDs. I have 10 ice blue only harness/LEDs if anyone is looking to add these lights. They all worked perfectly when removed.
$50 for all 10 plus shipping (probably <$10 unless West Coast and it might be more).
PM me with...
That’s really bizarre. Of all the parts on my truck I fear getting stolen, not sure that one makes the top 500.
So what happens to someone’s antenna base that they need to replace the original anyway???
BAK MX4 for me, too. I love em, and sealing the tailgate I have really eliminated dust and leaks (the driver's side back IS a challenge). I am on my second, first was on my 2013 F150 and I used it for 4 or 5 years. I think it was actually not an MX4, but some earlier version. I upgraded to...
Yeah, say what you want about Ford corporate but they didn’t take the bailout and that means something to many of us.
Ford stock has been great lately.
So watching the Chiefs game and see a commercial for the Chevy Trail Boss. In fact a couple of them. Curious how it compared to a Raptor. Found this link below.
See, when I bought the Raptor I didn’t know the Chevy was a MAN’S TRUCK. That’s their best shot...
Well, dropping the truck off tomorrow so the tech can have a listen. Showed the video and the SA first reaction was “it’s just the injectors making a noise”. But then the advisor said I had a ticking that could be the phasers or a tensioning belt. I told him we just did the phasers, plus the...
This is the link to my eBay post for my full set of 10 Ice Blue ambient lights. Asking $225 but if you are interested shoot me an offer. I swapped out my original Ice Blue lights for a set of 2017 lights (multicolor). I paid $370 for the full set from Tasco and White Bear...
You nailed this one. Even if I could make $5k selling mine, then what? Mine is my DD, plus I know what I’ve got. I could wait for a Gen3, but what’s the price gonna be on those, $85k?
Nicely done. I highjacked your pdf to create some "aircraft" related labels:
Nav Lights - amber BD fogs
Taxi Lights - BD combos
Landing Lights - BD driving lights
Aft Position Lights - BD reverse lights
Auto Pilot - TBD
Cargo Ramp - tailgate release
Installed a LVJ Motorsports harness (purchased from Nick at Apollo Optics) to my Baja Designs reverse lights. Now I have upfitter switch control as well as reverse light triggering. The harness is very well made, it survived me pulling the Weathertech connectors through the frame rail and the...
