Appreciate that man! I am the tourist black Raptor parking in $35 a day spots looking for good music and brews!
found some, but being a perfectionist the search MUST continue...
Yeah, sorry about that, a typo. Sitting in a bar on Broadway in Nashville on St Pats day maybe not as sharp as usual.
Thanks for pointing out my error.
Anyone know the formula or calc for “range to Empty”?
just drove KC to Nashville, started at 520 range to empty and roughly 12mpg. By the time I was 400 miles down the road was up to 16.2mpg with 120 RTE. So my range went up to 520.
Does it use current trip avg mpg along with tank size?
Yeah, I am considering mocking up some brackets to move the lights slightly away from the exhaust tips. My right side is about 1/16” from the exhaust tip. Left is maybe a 1/4”. Tried adjusting the tailpipe but wasn’t able to get any more clearance.
If the BD bracket had an oval shape slot it at...
They are a nice setup. I ended up putting the amber covers on mine, the light just seems to work better with the backup camera. The yellow isn’t quite as washed out as the white and I can see more details.
This is all suddenly very weird for me...
my truck was in for phaser work in late January. Since I got it back runs like a top, but it seems to crank at least twice as long. Plus my auto start/stop has not engaged once since I got the truck back. I thought it was time for a new battery.
Maybe...
I just completed this one. There is definitely a difference - it IS noticeable. I was very sceptical and did it out of curiousity since the weather is great here today. More punch like mentioned above. I would recommend. Worth $20 and an hour of time.
Crap... been considering one of those. Dammit I am THAT old man. Guess I will go to the mailbox and look for AARP mailers.
wonder who’s older, me or @Oldfart ?
All the above plus waiting for phasers to start rattling on cold startup and shifty dealers not wanting to fix them under warranty.
buy it anyway. Beautiful truck.
Yeah, I have to think most of the folks with CF or wanting CF probably have more upscale F150s that would have the backup assist controls.
they might be smart to make a 2-piece version of the center vent stack. Upper and lower pieces.
Agreed. I am VERY picky. The quality and fit is superb. No flaws in any of my pieces, and they fit as well as the OEM parts they replaced. I have seen the factory CF, and IMHO you wouldn't know these were aftermarket.
I REALLY want the center vents now. It's tempting to get the existing...
Absolutely. Both times I had them done at two different dealers, both treated it like a minor thing and it was no big deal. Couple days in the shop and it was done. Only reason I had a second repair is first repair was with old revision of the part.
I am shocked the repair guys don’t actually...
Truer words never spoken. If the wife approaches you about going from 35s to 37s (see what I did there?) - reject that crap immediately. No matter how badass you think you are, it’s not for you.
Yes, door panels need to be removed. It’s very easy if you have a plastic trim removal set. Each door took me on average about 30-40 minutes.
CPC has a great video. My door trim was slightly different than the video but it’s obvious when you see it. Probably a model year difference.
I budgeted a...
2018 - I got the notification. My phasers have been done a couple times. Very interested to understand what this is. Software fixing a mechanical issue curious...
No, there is no notch. I noticed that also. I don't usually run a phone cord from there, but am considering ways to create a notch. The OEM has 2 of them.
So this guy has lemon law’d multiple vehicles - most of us probably go our whole life without going that route ONCE. Agree with the earlier poster that mentioned jerks like this make cars much more expensive for the rest of us.
Console pieces done. Quality and fitment is absolutely stunning.
Note- the usb cubby door cover is a CF “stick-on” overlay which I really prefer to trying replace the door.
