I had excellent credit and a healthy down payment. When the dealer sees a no drama purchase that ADM gets cut down fast. My 2021 had a $20,000 market adjustment. I paid $7500. And this was when they first came out off the showroom floor.
My baby is all busted up. Even a fluid leak somewhere. It took a couple of days to find a repair shop that’s gonna fix her right. And that worked with aluminum. Extensive job ($11k+) considering everything is coming off to achieve proper paint blend and alignment except the driver side doors and...
My friend has a Gen2. Loves it and it looks great. I agree. But I got the ‘21 Gen3 because of looks, new tech and features. Make no mistake they are two extremely different trucks. I have a ‘21. Have had no issues at all after a year of use. ‘21 is a good year because you get all the bells and...
I totally agree and understand. And it’s a hard call whether to accept the truck. But it’s a beautiful 37. 99.9% complete. Buy the warm gloves and never look back. Try and squeeze the dealer for a few free oil changes or something. Have fun.
I bought my Raptor last year the week of Christmas. Dealers may be more amenable to compromise trying to make year end and monthly sales quotas. I’d shoot for 5k but would accept 7k.
I’d wait. If you can’t get all the features…pass. I have a 2021 Raptor with all the features here in the Midwest. I’m not going without a heated steering wheel. Or whatever else Ford wants to delete.
Be mindful 2021 Raptors weren’t subject to part supply and chip shortages as are ‘22-‘23 models. Don’t end up with a watered down Raptor. Since you’re doing your due diligence. Good luck.
No doubt. They’re beautiful trucks. Hopefully someone is able to take advantage of your heads up. I just prefer the appliqué. I’m glad I bought my Raptor in ‘21. As you stated with the supply issues, compromises have to be made in the current times.
It’s not bitching or a grievance. It’s an opinion. And if you don’t like my opinion you can ignore it. You responded to an opinion I left for someone else.
I use the term watered down when the same model as mine has less options (no pro power, tailgate step, appliqué, ambient lighting, heated steering wheel, on and on). But a Raptor is mostly defined by it’s physical features. Most prominently it’s front hood and tailgate. The CO pictured is a true...
You missed out on getting a true fully loaded Raptor. Raptors posted here are watered down. Delete this, delete that. I’d have a hard time paying $5k under MSRP.
These are watered down Raptors. No appliqué and heated steering wheel. We already know about no ambient lighting and numerals on ac/heat knobs. I wouldn’t pay a penny over MSRP if that. 2021 Raptors are the only true fully loaded Raptors. Distant cousins are the rest.
I wouldn’t pay a penny over MSRP for any of these watered down Raptors. Delete this delete that. No appliqué, tailgate step, pro power, heated steering wheel, on and on. So glad I have a true fully loaded ‘21 Raptor.
Congratulations. I’ve had my fully loaded (no watered down version) 35 ‘21 CO Raptor nearly a year and it is as solid as the day I drove it off the lot.
I have the BlackVue 900x plus 2ch. Front and rear cameras. Expensive. But has paid for itself a couple of times over. It picked up someone filming and taking pics of my truck for unknown reasons.
