I live up north in Phoenix, might be able to help out. I have a 2018 802a that I’ve already installed 2 times....waiting on the PX6 to install in my vehicle.
I’m still receiving overheating issues so I’m thinking of going with the Vanguard S1 on sale till the 29th for $150. Operating temps are advertised ay -4 to 158°F...this is a dual camera system.
Thanks for the update on that portion.
….when 1st booting up, do the internal temps display degrees Celsius initially, then when you move the temp knob display Fahrenheit? or did the fix that's well
My issue was the gps did not track when selecting the native nav screen, the map orientation was correct and the ford sync showed all the satellites, but the map didn’t move, it was simply fixed at my home location. What I’m wondering ..... is does this longer cable fix the native gps being...
One of the issues I had with the previous model was the GPS not working via the sync. The vehicle was getting the gps signal, but the native navigation wouldn’t work. Waze worked fine
I wish I had done the dyno before the add-ons, I was told the stock raptor (2017-2018 at least) was around 365hp. maybe someone here can report actual stock values
This was posted on The Phoenix Automotive site in Nov 2018, so I'm not sure if it still applies.(I have not tried it yet).
Change Boot Up Screen on Android Tesla Style Unit
I did a recent exchange from the PX3 to the PX6, and at the time of my order (last week) they estimated it’d be 2weeks for the new units to be shipped with the cable fix. I asked them to not ship until it included the longer cable.....I’ll report back here when I receive it.
...update as to my return/exchange for the Px6 unit as well as the longer Sync cable. Just got off the phone with one of the representatives and as of today (Jul 16th) it'll be about 2 weeks for those cables to be included.
just an FYI here......I simple told them to ship the Px6 when they...
I’ll be paying a re-stocking fee, plus cost of shipment but I believe it’ll be better than the px3 unit, especially since you’ve had it installed already and have a good idea on the comparisons . Now that I’ve installed/uninstalled it a few times, it’s not that bad. I’m going to be putting in...
Wouldn’t think anything you were doing in that location would cause a 30A fuse to blow without some sparks flying around. Sounds like an anomaly for sure.
I'm no mechanic, but looking through the maintenance manual for my truck ('18 Raptor, 802a), I think you hit the nail on the head with the BCM being responsible for those malfunctions.
Fuse location 4 (60A) is for the BCM
Fuse location 25 (50A) is for BCM 1
Fuse location 41 (30A) is for BCM...
I’m on my 3rd unit and I’m still hanging in there on this being a good replacement for the factory setup. Like Guy mentioned in the beginning of this thread, you have to be willing to put up with some anomalies and bugs. I’ll consider the Px6 once those here that elect to go with that version...
