@Hector Leal - You could have them wrapped with the Xpel Ultimate to maintain the contrast and still protect. I'm having the same treatment done on mine, however mine is Agate Black. In process pic below of B pillars and door handles.
@Todd Turbo S - THAT reminded me of something @Oldfart may, or may not have said one time. o_O Uncle Perv, don't worry you can't do your typical browsing on this screen, no need for a screen protector... if you could, you'd be better off with a drop cloth. ;) :D
@MAMiller44 - You should be held criminally liable for this post and I'm considering filing a class action civil suit against the company for the pain and suffering of those poor Raptors and the people that see them. I just have to remove this spork from my eyes and get the taste of vomit out...
Sorry to hear about your wait, man. @Nick@Apollo-Optics got mine to me in two-three days tax free (not that you have to worry about that in Oregon) and free shipping. Don't know if they're on back order with the 17s" or not but yeah, in tungsten graphite they match the trim and looks so sweet...
Full coverage XPel Stealth PPF w/ Ceramic Pro coat, smoked chrome & black tailgate oval swap, and VenomRex 602s courtesy of @Nick@Apollo-Optics ... technically not "done" today, still in progress but will get her back soon. I'll do a build up thread with pictures of everything if anyone's...
I'm sure someone has already done this and it's probably on this forum somewhere but, have you or anyone thought about 3D printing out some handles to attach to the pull cables? I'll probably end up doing that for mine and post some pictures afterwards.
My friends don't like being used but there, I edited it to make it more formal. Sorry Dedricht Von Stuffington, didn't mean to make a post so horribly improper. Maybe next time, you could try contributing something relevant to the thread - as long as we're making friendly suggestions.
Not a Ford tech but work with computers and other electronics to have some idea here... if it works solo but it's jacked up in 360 mode, then based on that and the picture you provided, it doesn't seem like the front camera to me, seems like a loose pin/connector at an aggregator of some sort...
Hey Uncle Perv, what @SVTFordRaptor said! There's a dealership nearby that offers the free oil changes for life thing but, they also wanted like $90k for a Raptor I didn't want... so I took my business elsewhere - got the 42,000 Ford Pass points like SVT above and will probably use the points...
Brother, a few things:
First off, hats off to you for even being able to think on this level. Many would just gloss over it if it even entered their brain.
Secondly, some of the responses I've read here are blowing it out of proportion just as much as they accuse you of; let it all roll...
@ OP and anyone else seeking a Raptor in CA... I ordered mine from a local dealer brand new. Fully loaded 2020 SCREW, MSRP around $72k - purchase price $66k (ordered 2/7, took delivery 3/31). If you're looking out of state, make sure to add whatever it will cost to ship or fly out/drive back...
There's In-n-Outs in Nevada... just sayin. And that's still within an easy driving distance to Yosemite, Tahoe, although; it'd be quite a ways away from the beach but, eh... spent 8 years living on it.
Nice, man! Congrats! 'Bout damn time. Welcome to the family! Careful with that speed though... everyone knows red vehicles are actually going about 5 to 10 over that the speedo says. ;) Hope you enjoy her! What mods are up first?
From everything I've heard/read so far - 2019 and 2020 you should be fine no rub & no trim or level req. 2018 and below: some slight rub at full lock, eliminated with level like RPG or Eibach springs. (assuming a 14mm tread depth like the KO2 AT) Hope this helps. Stay safe!
Not the exact same but, the ones I mentioned in my dad's Super Duty were installed/work with a factory bed mat - no bed liner; if that's any help. Though you may have to punch some holes to bolt through the rug if it's total coverage. I want to say that I've seen an install video or pictures...
Sorry to deviate from the topic a little but, if you're worried about security; why are you still running Windows 7? Not that 10 is much better but support for 7 ended years ago.
As soon as the time and situation allows. Dad's 4 hours away but I'll see if he'll send me a pic for me to post. It's just a 1/8" plate drilled and put inside the case, bolted through.
Depends on how deep the scratches are but, yeah. I won't be jumping it or anything but, heavy desert and mountain trail use and highway travel is in my future with her. The self healing aspect is one of the reasons I'm getting what I am - I'm paying out the nose for the full truck though...
My dad has these on his Super Duty. They work great, easy install but we fab'ed some reinforcing plates for the inside of the case so the plastic doesn't crack/break. Year and a half later and they're still holding strong. Even able to fit under and swing out with his tri-fold bed cover on...
Looked like less of an eyesore BEFORE the work. Jeez. Yeah, way to keep your cool with that "Hey, it's a truck..." comment. It's difficult to not react but, I think you made the right call... military bearing, right? Bravo zulu, shipmate. I'll get those pictures of mine up when she comes...
