That makes more sense. I couldn't believe that nobody here got their '23 scheduled yet. Then again, that's kind of like me saying that I can't believe someone here hasn't won the lottery yet...
Great question! I'm curious to know that as well. Although I do feel like my G2s rode slightly better in certain circumstances than my G3. However, the G3 handled sharper bumps and impacts a lot better.
MSRP is between a bad deal and a good one, so I'd say it's both semi-good and same-bad at the same time...
In all seriousness though, MSRP is a good deal for a Raptor. Period.
Hennessey offers a Venom 1000 on a 760hp GT500, so I don't know why they couldn't do the same thing to a Raptor. There's a LOT more power potential in the 5.2L Predator than the 700hp the factory is offering. The real question is why you would want more than that in a truck like the Raptor...
Thanks! I guess that means no one here got scheduled. I definitely did not... Then again, I'm not in a hurry - I'll be happy whenever the truck gets here.
I didn't... We could always reach out to FP and see if they know anything. I am legitimately curious to know if they actually did any scheduling yesterday.
As long as the 10/10 production start date for '23s isn't pushed back, I'll be happy!
Most dealers are selling their Raptors for over MSRP, so yes, in that context MSRP is a good deal. I also doubt there is anyone on this forum who is legitimately shopping for a Raptor that would pass on this... Food for thought...
They do, but I think they go out in the evening.
Lincoln schedules on Tuesdays, and those emails usually go out after 7pm (CST). My '21 Raptor was a stock unit at a dealer, and my '22 order didn't get picked up, so I haven't actually ever received a scheduling email from Ford. I'm hoping that...
Perhaps those who have been scheduled in the past can chime in, but I think the emails go out in the evening - since scheduling takes place during the day. That's how it works on the Lincoln side, so it's my assumption it would be the same for Ford. Regardless, I am sure we'll see the lucky...
As far as I know, scheduling was still supposed to begin today. Emails would go out this evening to those who were lucky enough to be one of the first '23s scheduled.
Scheduling dates are pretty random, and they are based on a number of criteria. It seems like 800A orders were filled rather...
I think the value would be in the eye of the beholder / owner. I think we can both agree that if we were only considering the value of money or value for money, we wouldn't be talking about a new C8 or a Raptor. For how 95% of people use them, we could get something else that would accomplish...
I got my refund check on Saturday 8/27. That was about 9 weeks from when I sent all of my documentation to Ford.
And for the inquiring mind(s) above, I paid exactly MSRP for my truck.
There's something about this color I just don't personally care for - it's a bit too soft - maybe even feminine...? It seems like an oxymoron on a Raptor, especially an R!
I don't dislike the graphics. Well, not that much anyway. I would say I am largely indifferent about them as a whole. I...
Lead times are anybody's guess. Production on '23s is slated to begin on 10/10, but there are some who waited in excess of 10 months to get their trucks.
If you're looking for a 37pp, it would have been an 801A trim anyway, so the removal of the 800A is irrelevant to you. Rapid Red is still...
I hate that dealers are doing this crap. They are a lot more persistent now than they used to be because they know they can take advantage in the current market. Most of the items on that list are complete and total crap. The physical items on the list will be more difficult to negotiate...
@FordTechOne can confirm this I'm sure. We already know of course, but maybe he'll chime in for you.
As Antho said, the wheels are beadlock capable. You have add actual, functional beadlock rings to make them functional. Functional beadlock rings are not street legal (they're for off-road...
I understand there are a few dealers discounting TRXs, but that really isn't the norm. All the pre-owned TRXs in my area are still significantly over the original sticker because the dealers sell them for over MSRP here. And I acknowledged how difficult it would be to get a Raptor R and the...
I can understand the disappointment of having to deal with the Ford dealerships - the majority of them are unscrupulous. And it sucks that it'll mostly be unobtainable, but that just speaks to the vehicle's desirability.
However, I can't see that it's outrageously priced. Would it be nice...
