Better to be safe than sorry. Just making sure I wasnt susceptible to a weird fault or some final destination type failure haha
As a fingerprint preventer I can see the use but I havent really had any issues with glare but I definitely need to do some more testing with the moon roof shade open
Man I would love to be in your shoes. I'm kinda the opposite side of the spectrum, I own a gen 2 and an ecoboost mustang. Gotta say I feel proud in my decision as the ecoboost mustang helps me keep miles low on the gen 2 while having better fuel economy for driving to work. I've always dreamed...
I know this is going to sound sarcastic so forgive me but what makes you think you need one? I've owned 5 different vehicles with touchscreens and none had issues
I have the same exact issue. Only passenger side but in the same exact spot. I'm a little annoyed but luckily I have plans on getting a different bumper with a winch mount
Thanks for posting more pics! Although now you've made it harder for me to choose. I didnt realize there were rails on top which would make mounting a roof tent a piece of cake. Man now I'm really considering getting a top with internal mounting options
I plan on getting the Decked storage for the bed of my truck and putting all my recovery gear inside. Although I have a lot of research to do in terms of bed cover, rack, and lighting but I am definitely getting the Decked storage units for sure and basing everything around it
I was going to turn off auto start/stop in my truck but after driving around with it, I'm actually happy to use it. The biggest deal is the truck automatically disables this feature when in sport or baja mode which is all I really care about. It's nice having the engine shut off during traffic...
I keep my scanning tool in the truck. As soon as the truck throws a code I read it the same hour. I use BlueDriver obd2 wireless scanner. It's super compact and inexpensive however you need a phone as a companion tool which is the only slight downside
Thanks for the replies guys. I completely overlooked all electrical so thanks for the reminder. I dont plan on bringing axles cause I'll have buddies that can pull me so I can limp in 4wd home, same goes for iwe. I am strongly considering a 2nd spare as I plan on relocating the current spare and...
Other than the usual of fluids, serpentine belts, and a spare tire. What spare parts would you bring on an overlanding adventure? So far the only thing I can think of is an extra tie rod. Side question, what parts are commonly broken on the raptors while off roading?
My 2 cents, a waste of money and performance. I'd stick to recirculating valves as they maintain slight pressure instead of releasing it all back to the atmosphere. I admit they sound awesome but I would never add them to my rig. Much rather buy a catch can
I was thinking about cutting a hole in the exhaust before the resonator and weld in an actuator that's wired up to one of the overhead switches. Idea is to have straight pipes when I want them but have the ability to quiet things down so I dont wake the neighbors lol. My only worry is how the...
Are you talking about usb 3.0? My phone uses usb type c which I use a simple cable to covert (no adapters) but even then I use wireless charging cause I've ruined multiple ports over the years of owning multiple phones due to the amount of connecting and reconnects
One of my dreams is to do exactly this to my truck but I cry over the cost of throwing long travel suspension. I love the looks of your ride but I'm a guy about function with looks coming in a close 2nd. I was torn you commenting that it's a street queen. Are you planning on throwing in long...
If theres any traffic, I dont speed at all and mostly use cruise control since its adaptive (makes driving so easy). If there are no cars or 2+ lanes completely open then I'll romp on it a bit
I'm rocking the Road Scout by Cobra. It's mostly aimed towards radar/laser detecting enthusiasts but it also comes built in with a 1080p dashcam. Been using it for awhile and it works great except the device needs to be turned on for recordings to happen.
