Update: went to the dealer yesterday and had the solenoid for the passenger rear shock replaced. The noise is still happening. They ordered a complete shock assembly this time (they told me they did that initially) and have an appointment scheduled for the repair.

I did call around. And all of them told me pretty much the same thing. The one dealer said if I were to drop it off they wouldn’t be able to look at it “for at least a week” Idk if they are all the busy or just blowing smoke. But I have an appointment on the 19th. So see how that goes.

The closest dealer to me is the largest ford dealer in the Pittsburgh area. So that’s not the issue.

unfortunately for me I didn’t buy the truck at a local dealership. So i don’t think the closer dealers will really care. I called and the earliest a dealer can get me in is 11-19. Both said I can drop it off today but they won’t touch it for a week.

it seems like it only makes the noise while idling. And not while the vehicle is off.

I’ll for sure update when I know what the issue is. can’t get an appointment to be seen until December so hopefully it’s nothing serious.

It’s 100% from my truck. Hard to pinpoint exactly from where but sounds like towards the rear.

So my truck has under 600 miles. I’m unsure if this is a normal noise, it’s very noticeable. Any thoughts?

I’m trying to hold out until some reviews for the Mishimoto come out. with the JLT being $250 cheaper it’s hard to consider the Mishimoto since the JLt has great reviews.
