    I switched from Toyota/Lexus over to Ford, so I definitely get your concern. I did buy extended warranty for peace of mind. Definitely search online for the best deals, since your local dealer may rip you off. I bought mine from Flood Ford.

    About 4k miles so far, mostly using 87 octane in hot TX weather. Mix of city/hwy, and I'm getting 17.5 mpg so far.

    antenna ??????

    I actually bought a shorty but realized that I like the OEM tall antenna better in terms of looking proportional to the truck, and I don't mind it scraping my garage door. I returned the shorty antenna.

    My New Lead Foot

    Love the Lead Foot, that's my color too. So far I have about 570 miles on it, mostly slow highway traffic, and getting around 16.7 mpg. Not too bad... In terms of smiles per mile, it certainly beats the Prius and Lexus CT hybrid that I drove for 9 years!
