I don’t think it would be a problem. It’s called a “Cold Air Intake”, but it acts just like the factory unit. I’m sure Ford considered those cold days when they designed the factory intake!
Intakes these days are pretty good. I remember installing a real CAI on a VW (many years ago) that tucked...
The S&B is designed exactly like the factory part it replaces. The main difference is the filter design. It even reuses the factory intake snout that it attached under the hood. So, to answer your question, it will work just like the factory intake you would replace, but with better flow...
Well, I guess my transmission isn‘t as bad as what you guys are saying. I’ve never felt anything that is really concerning. Just generally a little clunky. And yes, AZ, I was talking about the exhaust valve rattle…
Was just reading some of the aftermarket exhaust posts. Perhaps my issues are related to my rattling stock exhaust? A few guys stated that the pedal had a dead spot after exhaust install, where the truck had to do a little learning before it rode smooth again. I’m thinking, maybe my truck is a...
My tans usually feels a bit more clunky in my neighborhood. Usually when coming to a stop sign. Maybe the 3 to 2 shift? Maybe 4 to 2 shift, if it skips 3rd. Can’t tell, because Ford doesn’t show us what gear we are in anymore (except in manual mode).
Sport mode is nice, but just holds the gears...
Yeah, this transmission is def not the best. Maybe it’s just in the programming. I went from a 2016 3.5 eco to a 2019 3.5 eco for the 10 speed. I actually liked it in my 2019 (except for the skip shift from 1-3) but I tuned that truck and the tranny was great! My ‘22 Raptor feels A LOT more...
This is too funny! Guy probably took that one in on a trade and is now trying to dump it on someone because the motor is making funny noises!
I looked a used 2018 a few years ago. At my local Ford used lot. The salesman came out, so excited to show me the truck! When he remote started the...
Mine feels sluggish too, in anything under about 3/4 throttle. My tuned 2019 peasant 3.5EB felt like a rocket ship in comparison. Trans also feels like it’s not sure what to do sometimes…Need a tune BAD!!!
There is no doubt that ADM’s suck. I have been wanting a Raptor for several years, just never could pull the trigger. Then, when I was ready to buy, the AMD’s kept me away from getting a gen 3 for the longest time. I had my previous truck at the dealer for warranty service and happened to see...
I used a recirculation block off puck. I believe it was around $30 (for the aluminum version). Forgot exactly what it was called, but I had it on my 2019 3.5 EB F150 and removed it before trading in. It fit right onto the '22 Raptor. Was cheap, easy to install (5 minutes) and makes the blow off...

this is what I found. It is only a stick-on cover. Not the actual sliding door! I searched “f150 front storage cover”
I know it is for the previous gen, but you...
I just had my local dealer install the 1.5” collars for me. I installed the Foutz 1” rears, just before taking it in (Have a toolbox in the bed). Truck sits almost perfect! Still about 1/4” higher in the rear, which I’m good with, as I occasionally need to tow a trailer.
The front seems to...
Panama City Beach, Fl…the squatters somehow ALL seem to find their way here every year! It’s actually kinda funny! They all try to look so tough and cool, in their trucks, but everyone around is shaking their heads and/or cringing.
+1 what doc said. A 6mm offset will push your wheels out about an inch. Should look more ”flush”. You will not have any rubbing/scrubbing issues on your truck!
I just finished installing the 1” rear spacers. I jacked up the rear axle, on one side, to get the wheel off. Then, jacked up as high as my jack would go. Placed a stand under the rear part of the main frame rail. Used spring compressors, just to hold the spring from expanding, then dropped the...
So, I just finished installing the 1” rear spacers in my garage. With my toolbox and tools in the back, I now have right at 1.5” rake. So, I will prob just install the 1.5” RPG collars up front to level my particular truck!
Sounds like you are on the right track. Go with 1.5” front and .75”...
Most people on here report that the 1.5” collars work for them. Some say it is slightly nose high. Some say it is “dead level”. I think that the measurements all depend on what you have in the bed and sometimes, how much fuel you are carrying! These trucks have VERY soft springs and I have seen...
So, you guys are calling a 1/4” to 1/2” reverse rake a “Carolina Squat” :Big Laugh: that’s too funny. That is more of a trophy truck stance in my opinion, and actually looks good (Again, in my opinion). A squatted truck is more like 3”+ reverse rake. And I agree, looks terrible and not really...
Truck still gets plenty hot, sitting in the sun with the engine off, but the AC def cools down the truck more quickly, and you can turn the fan speed down lower than normal, to maintain your comfort!
I also did ceramic tint on my truck. Llumar IRX Film, 15% Fronts, 30% rears and Strata 50% windshield. Made a huge difference! Also paid around $800 but did not do the pano roof!
Actually, the darker tints can lead to more heat gain, as the dark windows actually transfer more head. The lighter...
WOW! What an awesome truck you have. Love all the paint matching and wheel/tire setup! (I’ve got the same wheels in bronze, VERY popular wheel for F150’s in general). Forget all the idiots on here giving you crap about the wheels/tires. It’s called style. Most Guy’s are totally happy with the...
