    Yeah. Mine noise was clearly coming from the exhaust valve. I even climbed under the truck to hear it more clearly. Maybe you should open the hood and record, as you move your phone around the engine bay. You should be able to hear the noise get louder, as you pass by that part of the engine...

    Headlights aimed too high?

    OP said he was on a road trip. Was there any luggage or extra weight in the bed? My toolbox was enough to get flashed by everyone. I adjusted the headlights down (about 2” on my garage wall from 30’ away. That worked! No more flashing headlights and I see great at night!
