I used to detail cars and the best big/tar remover I've found is Tarminator. Works extremely well and I've never had it damage anything. Plus it has a cool name. Any asphalt tar bits literally melt with this stuff and bugs become wipe away.

I have diode dynamics in my truck. Great brand. You can fit 3 lights in there, so I went with their sae driving in white, fog light in amber, and a flood in white. One far range, one for bad weather, and one to light close range on the corners.
I had this stuff in the bed of my pre-raptor f150. It's sturdier than paint, but not nearly as good as linex. It will probably chip, but the nice thing is it's super easy to touch up or spray over to keep it looking nice.
I just scheduled to get 21b10 done on my truck. They said that it adds an additional warranty to the cam phasers if you get it done before the end of the year. It hopefully also corrects whatever causes the damage. But if your truck already has bad phasers it won't fix the issue.
My advice would be to not buy the first couple years of a new model year. They fix a lot of little problems after the first 2 years. I know this one is a refresh and not totally new, but there's still new stuff and changes that may cause problems.
Just got approved for 2.04 for 6 years through bank of America for a new rav4 prime. Normal rate on new vehicles is 2.39, then if you're a preferred rewards member you can get some points knocked off. It was a little lower than my local credit unions in Oregon.
With rates this low, you can make...
Here is the rear flexed a bit, close to or on the bump stop. It isn't even very serious offloading. But notice how the wheel already is tucked up into the fender. I don't think that would fit a 37 unless you limited the travel. If you never take it off road, they will work fine with trimming though.
During warmup the system runs on a stratified charge mode using a 30/70 PI/DI ratio. The timing is even at -20° (i.e. 20deg after top dead center) during cold start emissions reduction mode to assist in catalyst heating. This will definitely cause oil contamination issues while the engine warms...
As someone whose owned the ridge grapplers (which are basically rebranded toyo R/T) they perform horribly in the snow and ice. Like the worst I've ever had.
I am currently in the same situation, looking for an aggressive tire for a winter only tire. I think I'm going to end up with a studded...
I use a fumoto and have on my last several vehicles, never had one open on me. They also come with a plastic safety clip to go over the lever to keep it from accidently spilling. On the raptor, I leave a hose attached to the end that I tuck away above the skid plate when not in use. I have...
Afe already makes equal length down pipes for the gen2, which accomplishes the same thing as the trombone pipe. They also make cutouts that can be acutaed with a switch, but they don't have nearly the low rumble that the gen3 has. It would have to be a whole muffler setup with an internal cutout...
Here is the base blending strategy for a stock 2019 raptor where 100 means 100% direct injection and 0 means 100% port injection. So a value of 60 would be 60% direct injection and 40% port injection. The benefits of the port injection is better mixing and thus better fuel economy (lower...
In our application, wix filters also have a taller media with about the same number of pleats compared to the Motorcraft filters. Good filtration and more surface area are what I like about them. They do not have the same glue at the top of the pleats to keep them spaced apart though and I...
Am I the only one who thinks the R is going to be the powerboost version of the raptor? Bump the electric motor power up and bump hp in the HO ecoboost. This is what many of the super car manufacturers have been moving to. It would get way better fuel economy than a TRX and could keep the weight...
What about the option of adding the power boost? Up the ecoboost engine to only take 91 octane and get the tune up to 500 hp. Add in the power boost option for another 50hp. Total of 550 hp. I would think that might be enough to win in a drag race against the trx.
I'm really hoping that stock exhaust can be swapped. Switch out the active exhaust actuator with a manual actuator and wire it to the aux switches. They really improved the sound on the Gen 3.
I believe the osram night breaker HIDs are the brightest you can get right now. They have a good color temp closer to 5000k which is better than the blueish options for your eyes
Super cheap to have it done if only to maintain the warranty. Over time the oil oxidizes and breaks down, even if not run. It's probably still good but why take the chance of them not honoring a cam phaser warranty claim because of lack of oil changes.
