I did! Forgot I even made this thread because no one responded. I worked with the guys from HPTuners to add in some parameters to get it to function in any mode. There is no backfiring or any fuelling whatsoever, it just keeps the throttle plate open, advances the intake cam, and the engine acts...
I installed the spicer diff cover a while ago. Looks great! I used the bolts that came with the kit and had one start to give while torquing down. I took it out and it was stretched. I did have a thought about it though, the bolts come with machine oil on them and oil gets in some of the holes...
Did you ever replace the oil filter? A bad anti-drainback could have made the rattle worse sounding. Also did you guys that have had phasers go out get the TSB done before it made sound? I had the TSB completed, still good in my '19, but only at 35k miles at the moment. I also turned off the...
I reused the factory clamps, boots, and BOV they've held up fine against 20 lbs of boost so far. Since they're not a common failure point, I didn't feel the need to change them out. I would suggest buying a creeper if you don't have one, being able to wheel around and easily position myself made...
I bought a knockoff intercooler from ebay a while ago for about half the cost of the equivalent retail one. I have since then also tuned my truck. Intake temps under boost sit at about 7 deg over ambient and don't rise during a single full throttle pull to 80+, while the stock intercooler would...
HP tuners is now able to tune 2021+ vehicles. I would expect tuners that use that platform will come out with theirs soon. The downside is the ECU needs to be sent in to unlock it.
I added some anti wrap springs on my truck to help out with axle wrap. It has helped immensely on the stock springs with wheel hop as well. I had wheel hop on soft dirt under hard acceleration or hard takeoffs from a stop. It was made immensely worse when I tuned the truck, this was at 20k...
Discount scratched 5 of my stock beadlocks so bad they had to be powder coated to get them fixed. 5 is not a typo either, I bought a set of stock beadlocks for my winter tires and they scratched all my summer rims and one winter rim. After that I watch them in the bay the entire time. I had...
I had discount damage 6 of my wheels at one time. They scratched every single one of my summer wheels to the point I had to have them re-powdercoated. They also scrated up 2 of my winter beadlocks that I had just had powdercaoated and had to be re-done. They paid for all of the repairs, but I...
I've opened headlights before by baking them and prying the lens off. It was a real pain, never doing that again. I would suggest just throwing them on ebay as a broken part and see what you can get.
Nokian hakkapeliitta LT3 are the only actual winter tires they make in the stock tire size.

Can anyone give me a more in depth look at what the anti-lag system looks like in action? I've tried to find videos or numbers, but have come up short. It was my understanding that when in Baja mode, the throttle plate would remain open on decel and keep boost levels up. The system seems to run...
Discount tire damaged mine so they paid to have them powder coated. 1 season later, they're still looking good. I bought an extra set for winter and when I bought them it looked like they had been stored rim side down. They had the paint on the tips of the spokes worn down.
Are the rear tires still able to tuck in under the fender at full flex with 1.5" spacers and stock rims? Or 1.25" spacers? I was thinking of grabbing a set of them, but have had previous vehicles rub on the fender in those conditions with too much offset.
I do 20 hand calc if I'm keeping it 60ish on mountain roads (21 on lie-o-meter) if I do 70-75 it's 17 mpg. Normal commuting is 17-18 mpg, but that is start, some city, then about 65 for the rest. Lie o meter always reads about 1 mpg higher than hand calc for me. I only run 92 octane.
EE did a pretty good video on turbo blankets.
If you want the quick and dirty, it helped with quicker spool up. But the turbo blanket from full race offer much less coverage and our turbos are water cooled, so you probably won't have the same gains as the video implies. I don't think they are...
Discount tire damaged my wheels in almost the exact same way. I stand at the bay and watch them every time now when they switch over my summer to winter tires. Anyhow, I had them powder coated on their dime the same color as stock. Can't tell they were ever damaged. I think it was about $600...
