Yeah the jump in n price is disheartening and makes more of a case to not consider. I only get one vehicle so it’s got to be both fun and serve truck duties. Being in Northern California, there are plenty of opportunities to have fun with the Raptor in lieu of having a “Fun Car”.
Would you go back to that setup over the Raptor? I'm guessing the Raptor is a much better ride and certainly a more apt daily; although I did drive a 2020 F-250 Tremor 6.7 as a daily in the Bay Area for about 2 years. Doable and entertaining with the disgusted looks I'd get from all the EV...
Something totally different - you could grab whatever trim F-150 with the 5.0 coyote and work with Paxpower out of Texas to basically turn it into a Raptor R. There are downsides and upsides to going that route, but people that do sure seem happy about it. There are plenty of vids on YouTube...
Really appreciate you speaking up. Thank you. I’m super super new and trying to get up to speed with all the history and latest improvements/developments. Seems like a cool community and I’m looking forward to getting back into a Ford Truck.
So how did all this work out? I just discovered the Paxpower route this morning. I’ve ordered a ‘24 regular Raptor at MSRP from a place in Kansas City. I’m in California. There are plenty of ‘23 F-150 v8 models on lots with deep discounts - even upper trim models. I didn’t put a deposit down...
They're not able to do MSRP on 37's now, but thankfully I only want 35 because I would like access to every pony available. Hopefully I don't somehow regret that decision. I just need to be back in a fun truck that I can use for just that - fun and a truck. I Traded out of a 2020 F-250 Tremor...
Just did a search for Ken Grody on here because I got an odd feeling after looking at their site and seeing a ton of Raptors for sale at "MSRP", but they're all customized with ADD bumpers and Method whels and Nitto tires that look too big, yet there's no mention of this on the window sticker...
Exactly. I certainly have mixed feelings about it. Seems like they should have some sort of deal with Ford to allocate their own "Fleet" of Raptors without dipping into us measley civilians' pool of available order slots. Whatever - I am looking forward to September's reveal of the 2024 updates.
I’m mostly interested in the salesman and dealership for a future deal. If you could share that info privately that would be amazing. I’m waiting to see what the tech/interior updates are on the ‘24 F150 line. Got my Super Duty from Long McArthur Ford in Kansas, but they apparently sell most of...
