Ive been going back and forth between these two front bumpers as well since I have the Whipple Stage 1 kit installed.
I was wondering if the anyone knew the build quality or QC process with SVC compared to ADD? Im going to pull the trigger on one and I honestly might go with the SVC since...
This is the reply I received from Whipple Support:
Power and air flow are the same between the 2. We had to switch to the closed box for 2018 due to emissions legality

I did and do service my 2018 Raptor @ KG. They install the Whipple Stage 1 on alot of their trucks right off the lot so it feels like a safe choice using them, safe/modest tune and I would have the ability to ask any and all questions... I will be contact Ruben to see what the warranty covers.
Has anyone had the install done by Ken Grody Ford in Buena Park? I’m getting ready to pull the trigger and any recommendations on who to talk to or connections would be greatly appreciate.
What is everyone paying for the install?
I was quoted $2100 kit, $600 install, $600 for a 3 year warranty + TAX = $3500.
This is going through my dealership so added peace of mind may come into play with this cost.
I searched and couldn't find an answer.
I have a 2018 Ford Raptor and was in mud/sand mode. I decided to turn traction control off for a bit and am not unable to turn it back on. It also appears off in Baja Mode.
When I push the traction control button, it gives me the option to turn it back...
I will be in Pismo Beach this weekend and wondered if you had some advice for me? Im not planning on going big but would like to know what tire PSI should I be and suggested mode?
Thanks!
I’m looking at getting the Whipple Stage 1 and was told this is the new CARB legal intake box. It provides the same dyno numbers and provides additional coverage when off-roading.
I have the same feeling... I can wait to pull the plug later when they have the intercooler, downpipes package and hopefully then it will be CARB approved. Until then ill stay stock to keep my factory warranty.
I figured that was the case when no specs were mentioned for the Rigid radiance.
Looks like I’m going with the BD set up you mentioned back a page or so.
Thanks again for all your knowledge and info.
How many lumens are each light on these Rigid radiance? They look great but if the lumes aren’t there as they are with the Baja Designs then they are a waste of money IMO http://www.4x4truckleds.com/2017-ford-raptor-triple-fog-light-kit-w-rigid-industries-radiance-pods/

I’m looking at Baja Designs fog light kits and am having a hard time deciding between the “Sportsman” or “Pro” versions. I go to the mountains (Big Bear,Ca) a couple times a year but other than I don’t really see myself going on night desert runs. Any insight on this tough...
I had my 18S27 carpet shield and insulation work done yesterday which only took 3 hours. When I mentioned the 18N03 he said it wasn’t a recall and only needed to be done if I experienced the door latch giving me an issue. I guess we shall see as I live in California and don’t experience colder...
The kit is $2,100 but what are you paying for the installation? I’m wondering what everyone is paying for installation since its a pretty straight forward install ... thanks in advance for input.
I had an Amazing time and learned a lot about drive modes, safety and left foot braking. It was great to tear it up.. and not be in my truck. Haha. I highly recommend going.
