That's a big consideration. If they discontinue the 392, maybe not that much. But otherwise, yes, much more than on the Raptor.
I'm 90% sure I'm keeping my build and will ride this out, but this all came about from looking on you tube and seeing Alex on Autos' review. I respect his reviews...
I suspect most people I've seen (or at least know up here), aren't doing high speed desert racing in their Raptors. My intent was to actually engage in some of that after I got one, while still having a truck that would be great for long drives to so cal.
I'm not saying I won't do it, but...
$7k off sticker is amazing............PM me if you don't mind.
Best I could find on the Rubicon 392 way back was about $2k off sticker. However, I've heard dealers aren't selling them the way they thought they would
At the risk of getting blasted, here goes...........
Given the 3 bumps in my build date (now pushed out another 2 months to April), I started thinking whether this was a sign to perhaps not a get raptor. Accordingly, I started thinking about other options.
As I posted way back, I've always...
those pics are great and very helpful. I see what you mean..........it's definitely bright in the light. I wouldn't call it burnt orange but definitely toned down in overcast conditions
Where do you stand on the debate of whether it's brighter in person than the pics let on, or is it actually a more burnt orange/subdued shade of orange?
Porsche's grey is known as 'Chalk'.
Audi's grey is known as Nardo and is amazing....... First saw it on a RS7 years ago and did a double take while driving.
You must be privy to different information than me. I spoke to my sales guy and he said my price wouldn't go up on a pre existing order based on a color change.
Given that the scheduled build has been pushed back to 4/4/22, I still have time to change the color.
lol..........yeah she does.
Your thinking was the same as mine on this. Not blown away by the color choices and figured this is my once chance to get a white vehicle that really stands out/looks good, along with the hide the scratches and dings thought process. But the more I see CO in...
By brown undertones, do you mean it has a look of burnt orange, a la Texas orange? Because if so, I love that color on a truck. I would hate it if ended up being bright orange -- similar to Tennessee orange. Fellow college football fans will hopefully appreciate my references.
I've never had a white vehicle and have never wanted one, until I saw a Raptor on OW. It looks so sharp and bold, yet simple.
I'm not one who likes the added attention, but CO intrigues me a bit. The more pics I see, the more I like how it looks, especially in lower light where the Orange...
Yes, this inflated economy will correct-- the question is, when. Interest rates will rise and eventually supply chain issues will be corrected. When that happens, prices will normalize. However, even if you get a used truck to tide you over, you will be overpaying for it too. Used car...
I need to just be patient -- it will happen when it happens. I'm re-thinking Oxford white for Code Orange btw.
Does your 37 fit in the East or West parking garages at Sky Harbor?
When you placed your order in October, did they give you a build date, which kept getting pushed back?
Or were you never actually assigned a VIN with a build date?
That's interesting regarding the Ecoboost's continued issues. I too cannot be w/o my truck for even a few days, especially living in a rural community where it's uncertain what I would get for a loaner from a dealership here.
What are your thoughts on the 6.4L hemi V8 by Dodge? It seems...
Not to be an a-hole, but I cannot WAIT for this artificially pumped up economy to come crashing down, so I am definitely with you.
The only point where I may disagree a bit is that I read that the chip/part shortage may continue well into 2023. If that's the case and demand continues unabated...
