if you have factory steps it could be mounted under passenger area up front, the ones we have done in the shop we have put the spare tire up in the bed, and mounted in the spare tire area under the bed, with a simple bracket.
I think the biggest benefit is the overall paint protection, so when you do go to sell it, the new potential buyer has the option of the wrap color or removing the wrap and having clean factory paint under it, that is undamaged. [as long as it was undamaged before the wrap was put on]

yes the control tack, there are some vinyl's that you can use soap and water on with no issue, in fact I would recommend it, the main one being basic vinyl like something you would run through a plotter

We are working on a 100% bolt on version right now, however the frame horns hang lower than the skid plate angle, which is why we modified the frame to achieve the angle. We are working on it though.
