Agreed, love the trucks ability to feel just at home running the beach as it is hauling the family on the highway. I moved from a 2014 Silverado and the overall interior space is drastically larger on the Raptor.
I'll second this as someone with a static 250lbs in the bed. From April to November the truck is on the beach almost everyday, mostly soft stuff. I don't feel like having to air up and have found that 30(f) 28(r) serves me well. If the truck is going back out on the high way I go back to 35F /...
WOW! No idea I had interest in these, not sure why I didn't get notifications!
@Francisco Calzadilla - sorry not willing to split shipping that far.Huge box.
@richnot - I'll actually be heading down to the the EHT area in a few weeks, could do a highway drop (I'd probably have take them out...
First and foremost, thanks @FordTechOne - invaluable forum resource, we are lucky to have ya!
- Cleared the codes and ran the On-Demand self test. All good.
I drove the truck for a few miles...maybe its better? I decided to run the DTC scan again when I got back and pulled only one code...
Appreciate the advice. I just pulled the codes via ForScan but i don't see any faults related to the VDM. Attached some screen shots of the full scan. Should i clear them?
* I do have an intermittent front drivers side TPMS malfunction (it is not the sensor in the wheel as I've already done my...
is there anyway to check shock settings via ForScan. Lately I feel like my front suspension is stiffer than it was when I first took delivery. I did have any issue a few weeks ago while driving on the beach where the DIS displayed "Terrain Management Unavailable" along with "Service Advance...
Not if you've enabled any of the folding mirror functions via ForScan. A lot of vehicles fold mirrors upon locking, probably the quickest visual indicator next to any kind of blinking LED.
I actually used Trail Control for the first time the other day. I'm on the beach almost everyday and always completely disable traction control. A few times I've inadvertently turned in but never used it. I used it this morning to cruise along the beach (not hard pack, but moderately soft and...
I've noticed that same thing after long drives with AC use. It definitely has to do with the rear seat vents and how they are plumbed thru the console.
2nd this. Had my warranty purchased from Flood Ford while the car was in transit. Out of State dealership tried to charge me $2,900 for the same exact thing.
Standard Husky rear wheel well liners. By mistake ordered 2 pairs on amazon. Trying to avoid paying to ship if I have to. $75 picked up South Fork of Long Island. I may be able to arrange transport to either NYC or the Smithsburg area of Maryland for pickup.
Noticed this plastic tubing stick out my wheel well today after coming back to the truck. There is clearly an attachment point/clip at the end, most likely to push onto a stud/bolt. I for the life of me can't figure out where it routes and clips in.
The tubing does seem to be capped. I...
How do you like the sidebars? Any particular reasoning for the spacing and foot pad placement? I'm contemplating putting a set across the middle so that I can strap a couple totes in the event of bad weather and a full bed under the Retrax.
Figured I'd add pics for reference since I'm really enjoying this setup. The whole setup was sourced from the crew @OffroadAlliance.com As others have mentioned , fit/finish and build quality on the Yakima is top notch.
there was just another thread about this but I'll offer the same piece of advice....
hands down the best solution is from @Swarfworks

Interesting DIY, the screen protector is a great idea! I mounted my valentine one in that spot, and for the life of me could not get the suction cups to stick to the small dots. I ended up using a small piece of black vinyl and it worked great. Also offered some concealment.
@Swarfworks is on here and usually chimes in! I've got the license plate bracket and the build quality is second to none. I'd say in the world of fab guys, he's one of the "good ones" , even answered some questions via DM on instagram at some rediculous hour.
