No, you can maintain stock ride height by going with Deaver+2 (Removes factory block) and you'll need to strike plates. You could also go +3 and install a drop shop shackle, this would also maintain stock height. Note Deaver makes an "HD" model that will ride slightly higher.

During my research on FRF I found more trucks with Retrax compared to anything else. I ordered mine thru @OffroadAlliance.com along with my rack setup and have been extremely happy. I actually had to call Retrax about an issue with one of the tracks , replacement was sent out quickly and...
I specifically haven't swapped out my antenna to a stubby for this reason. It's the first indicator that I'm not going to "fit" . Followed by the dual NMOs antennas on the BPD mount. My Yakima racks are slightly taller than the roof of the truck. If the radio antenna scrapes, it's an automatic...
It's not bad, if you search the "harsh ride " thread, I've got a bunch of screen shots. I haven't driven with ForScan running, but I will soon!
In addition, there is some great info from @FordTechOne and others.
I'm convinced I've got issues, there was a fleeting moment today that my truck rode like a Cadillac. I'm terrified that if I bring mine in for "harsh ride the dealer will tell me it's all "normal" . @FordTechOne has given great advice on how to log/what to watch for, but I'd be super interested...
Thanks - is there another parameter to watch for the shock solenoid being the culprit? I've noticed that things seem smoother above 40mph (same stretch of road) and that noise/thud from the front left is most prominent at low speed with the wheels turned. Say entering my concrete slab garage...
+1 vote for RokBlokz. One note is that installing after having the Husky rear wheel well liners on the truck does make sliding the retaining clips on a bit more difficult.
Im starting to think i've got these issues too. All summer long I had what I thought was a very smooth ride. Fast forward to a little before Thanksgiving and I feel every little road imperfection and the truck feels extra stiff. The front left shock also excessively stiff and some "thud" type...
I use a small portable(butane) soldering iron for truck work. While I'd like more temperature control , the ability to work in small places is a nice. My particular model also has a small heat shield you can use for shrink wrapping
Was poking around my engine bay today and found this wire taped back by the IWE check valve. It's a purple wire, perhaps 16 awg, capped/dipped just like the aux switch wires. Anyone know what this is for?
I had to ditch FP about 2 weeks ago, tried everything and was always killing my battery (iphone 12 Pro) - you'd think a company like Ford would have half the brains to develop an app that doesn't contain such a glaring flaw.
As a 2020 owner, I always notice new "harsh ride" posts. There are several threads going that discuss this. I believe the live valve reset requires a value input for the fuel level in IDS and asks for the truck to be completely empty of passengers. Under that school of thought, the truck...
@OffroadAlliance.com triple bezel kit. Wanted to maximize my ability to use them so the setup is 2 x SAE (Amber and White) and then the S1 with the ORA matching amber cover. The biggest pain with the install is getting the brackets in place, the rest of it is walk in the park. Shipping...
