As I said in another thread and it fits here also...
I would trust a dealer/salesman as much as an Army recruiter. They will tell you anything to get you to sign on the dotted line.
5k over MSRP is the MOST I would ever pay for a Raptor. You might have to wait and be patient, but the extra...
I would contact Roush directly and have them find a qualified dealer in your area to do the install!

There were several of us during TRR2 that were using this type of set up. It was more to be held in place and not choked by stock belts.
They worked for that application perfectly and my wife was more comfortable with them on.

Yes, lowering the pressure of stock tires helps tremendously..
Driving in snow is like driving in slick sand.
Lower tire pressure
Use your momentum to limit tire spin
One direction input at a time (brake, gas, or turning) to eliminate loss of traction.
Let the traction control work, the...
Contact Connor at Outlaw he has a pretty good Howe system setup.. SDHQ stopped selling them because of problems. I contacted Howe directly and they told me
" Hi Greg,
Outlaw Offroad has made a kit using our Pump, Reservoir, Cooler and Hoses. I am not sure where you are located but they also...
As long as you are not the first truck and breaking the trail, stock tires are fine..
Tips I learned last year..
4 high
One press of traction control (sport mode)
Locker unlocked (locked diff will cause push straight in the corners)
Off road mode off

There are quite a few 2012 and up owners that have had issues on top perch!
Enough problems that RCV is creating a set of axles and IWE (soon to be released) to help eliminate the issues.
Normally during soft sand/snow in 4wd causes CV joints to fail.

That is a perfect explanation.. Modifying perch increases the preload of the coil spring. Top perch is not recommended on any Raptor 2012 and up with front torsen.

I understand and agree.. The price point RCV is trying for is comparable to OEM IWE price.. (which really depends on final product). Converting to a electronic lock would no be a simple mod, and if it was simple bolt on the price would be considerably higher.
As of right now it is not an avenue...
Yes, concentrating on making this IWE solution viable/economical. Finally fed up with Ford shitty excuses that they are wear items/abuse/designed as drive line fuse. So I decided to focus on this one (major) issue and fix it.
As you know RCV has been making upgraded axles for the Raptor. They...
We have talked about removing the inner needle bearing in the hub also. Since the hubs will be locked to the axles. This will also eliminate the weak point in the hub assembly since it will not be needed.
I have planned on testing it with torsen, open, and elocker (or wavetrac).
This shitty...
I will let everyone know when I am satisfied with the product. Making sure it will not cause more harm than good. I WILL NOT risk anyone's Raptor!
-Greg (aka Squatting Dog)
In my opinion the torsen is one of the worst things they every did to the Raptor. It is not needed, causes more issues than benefits..
RCV and I are trying to make this work without getting rid of the torsen..
By removing the torsen, the IWE will last longer than a year and be more the...
