As far as I understand they are two different companies..
"fresh" air is pulled from driver side through engine/crankcase to passenger side. That is why on a boosted engine you should run both sides.

The only way that I can see it working is adding extra bracing under box to support it. Bracing the rear bed sides to stop them from flexing..
