Swapped my aftermarket wheels back on for the summer (even tho my forecast for Monday is calling for a foot of snow). Also, Swapped out the solenoid valve that sends vacuum to the IWE's because I had 2 random episodes of them grinding/ trying to engage coming home from work last night.
Knock on wood, ours hasn't done it since I posted about it here. Fingers crossed that it's gonna be ok now. I did go through the fuse panels and make sure all the fuses were fully seated. Maybe that helped..... Idk
Now, I need to figure out why I receive a warning when I turn the steering wheel...
My truck developed a noise from the rear end that was throttle sensitive last year. Tech said it was the ring and pinion. In the description on the repair order it said that the preload on the pinion was too loose. They replaced all the bearings seals and the ring and pinion. So maybe it was a...

Finally got around to taking some pictures of the shocks. Off my 2013 crew that was daily driven. No hard miles. 70,584 miles on them. Replaced due to right front shaft seal leaking and mileage. Asking $300. Buyer pays shipping from 49946. 2 boxes, 32 and 40 lbs each.
Did the first oil change on it today. Found this laying on top the tailpipes above the rear axle. Looks like the adhesive gave up. My gen2 doesn't have this, so I won't be reinstalling it.
Not sure if they do, or where they're located. I may list them on here before wholesaling them to a rebuilder. Would like to see them go to someone who needs them.
I haven't contacted them at all, I'm just looking at their website. I'm pretty sure they would qualify in the up to $75 category due to corrosion. My concern would be spending $100 or so to ship them and then having them say they're garbage, even if they aren't. Honestly is becoming harder and...
I thought about offering them up on here, just don't know what they're worth. TSW website estimates up to $75 per shock. No idea what it would cost to ship.
Does anyone have a personal experience with selling their used shocks to TSW?
I have a set off my 2013 that I have no use for and I was thinking about selling them to TSW. My concern is I'll spend the money to ship the shocks, they'll evaluate them, tell me they're junk, and it'll actually cost...
I don't get out much anymore, but I sure enjoy it still. Makes me feel like a kid again. Til the next day, lol.
I'm blessed with some great single track only an hour from my home.
300 is an awesome bike. I think you'll love it.
Lost both my parents in the last six months. Tell them how you really feel..... til you can't...
Get out and ride..... til you can't...
Went to deer camp with some life long friends. Good times, no regrets...til I can't
Hope you're back on your feet and back out there soon John.
The max of 4 lights on at one time has changed. Superduty and some other vehicles have 6 or more on at one time. Not sure why the covers are there, but there has to be a reason. They sure as hell wouldn't put them on if they didn't have to.
It's a sticker. They're called tuffskins and I purchased them off etsy. Put them on my 2020 because one of the guys that rides with me has a tendency to drag his feet in and out of the cab and scuff the sh!at out of my rockers. Figured I'd do the same on the gen 3 too.
I'll take the torque steer. Let's me know it's working. It's more about principle. Steady uping the price from every angle, making you buy options you don't want to get the one you do, then dropping options you paid for and insulting you with a small refund. Now, dropping an option without a...
So I went to the build and price website and built a raptor. No mention of torsen differential or option to choose one. Built a tremor and it is a option and when you click on the info button for the torsen differential it says available on tremor , period. Ironically it showed a raptor on the...
Hope this isn't true. I thought when they dropped the lower trim level that the torsen just became standard. If it is true, I'm more than a little disappointed...
Two lane highway, vehicle stopped to make a left turn waiting for an on coming car to go by. I'm going 65 and can see that the vehicle will be completing its turn before I get there with no need for me to lift and it goes off. Scared the sh!at out of me. Second time it did it to me, I shut it...
