Got sideswiped, any advice or a pick me up?

You mentioned that the steering wheel is a little off center now. May have sheared the center pins on the rear spring or tweaked the axle housing. Make sure the body shop looks that over closely. Sucks you had an accident, glad you're ok.

    Play in Driveshafts?

Not sure how the limited works, but on my 2020 raptor the front driveline doesn't turn in 2H. That's why the front hubs grind it they start to engage going down the road in 2H. 21 and up trucks have electric actuated iwes as far as I know....

    I have 60k miles on my 2020

Have experience with this? Sure make things easier. I'd probably change the filter and fluid myself then.

    I have 60k miles on my 2020

I believe there's a procedure you can do at home, I just haven't researched it yet. As far as my transmission goes, I'll probably have the dealer do that, cuz like you said, rolling around on the garage floor isn't any fun anymore, lol. Plus they made it so convenient to check the level...

    I have 60k miles on my 2020

Nice to hear a positive story. My rear brakes are getting thin also, and I'm concerned about the service procedure, too. Almost 53k on my 2020.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Installed my factory tires and wheels. Other set of bfgs on my aftermarket wheels shake terrible and sound like mud terrain tires that are half worn out  No more bfgs after these.

Help need on 2010 Raptor Spindle

Lol, I just read my post from earlier and realized I said the opposite of what I meant. I was thinking what @TomDirt confirmed. :doh2:

Help need on 2010 Raptor Spindle

Is it different than a standard f150 spindle? I was under the impression it was, but I could be wrong. Anyone know for sure?

    Water in differential

Front diff will get enough condensation in it to contaminate the oil over time. Probably should be changed annually or every 2 years depending on your climate. Using it occasionally helps too. When you first start the truck and drive away with it the iwe's are engaged for the first few minutes...

    Water in differential

Picked mine up yesterday. When I spoke with them on the phone on Thursday they said my vent looked ok and that they found an axle seal that had a hole in it that was allowing water in. Wasn't leaking oil though. Sounds strange to me, but they covered the repair and I have no other explanation...

Any fix to the tranny whine?

    Documentation for DIY Oil Change

I've been documenting everything on my fordpass, plus I have a tablet(paper and pen) that I keep track of all my things, ie both raptors, bronco, rzr, dirtbike. I'm old school, meaning I'm a man of my word, if that's not good enough, then I guess I'm in trouble. My 2020 is the first vehicle...

    Water in differential

So I dropped my truck off at the dealership this morning for rear end noise (second time in just over a year) and they call me shortly after to tell me that my rear diff was contaminated with water. Wtf? This truck is a highway princess. 98% of my trips are 63 miles long. Zero off road. Curious...

    BUYER BEWARE: 1FTFW1RG8NFC42439

North star ford of duluth, MN have a code orange listed on their website for 1k under sticker. Brand new truck. No clue how they are to deal with, but I was checking it out. Might be worth a look. They also have an azure gray and black advertised at msrp.

    Fall Colors…Post ‘‘em Up

Fall colors are all but done here, but here's a few from today, (courtesy of my wife), while we were out looking for a bull moose we saw 2 days ago.

    Water in differential

I believe that's because you'll submerge the alternator if you go over that. Same reason they only offered the everglades edition Broncos with a 2.3L because the alternator is mounted higher than on the 2.7L. Most all oil seals work this way. If you submerge the axle, water will force its way...

    Water in differential

Depending on the OPs driving habits, frequent short trips can cause enough condensation to build up to make the oil milky. Saw it when I used to work at the dealership. This is especially true with the front diff. And if you let it go long enough in the front without ever using 4wd, it would pit...

Thanks for the advice. Ill look into the forscan option. I have a friend that has messed with it and it looks like I'm gonna have to cave and get up to speed.

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I don't own a laptop:oops: The temperature has dropped from 88 two days ago, to 52 today, so the tires will adjust to your suggested pressures on their own, lol. Aren't you running 37s?

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

I don't have the capability of doing a recalibration and my dealer has basically no experience with this ( small dealer), so I'm not sure what to do yet. I'm also skeptical if it actually has an issue because I've been driving our gen3 and it rides much better. I'm wondering if maybe the...

What did you do to your Raptor today? (Gen2)

Was at the dealer today for rear end noise again. Was a little over a year ago they went through the whole thing and it needs it again. Not sure if its a poor job by the mechanic or poor quality parts, but I've never had an issue with a rear end until this truck. Plus, it seems like it's been...
