Our first 2023 bought in December of 2022 chimes through the dash speaker. 2023 I bought in January of 24 chimes through the speakers .funny thing is the early 2023 stereo sounds normal, later 2023 stereo sounds like complete shit. Sounds like front door speakers aren't doin shi!t. Early 2023...
Watched on YouTube a couple days ago. Did you switch lead trucks frequently? Any overheating issues or loss of power due to so much snow packing into the front of the truck? Plugged air filters?
Someone else posted a video of the run in the deep snow with drone footage of the lead truck...
If you want a raptor and buy something else you're gonna kick yourself every time you see one. If money is all you're worried about, buy something used that someone else took the initial hit on. Most people on here buy a raptor because that's what they want, who cares what it's worth down the...
We purchased a gen3 in December of 22 for my wife and I had a gen2 myself, and after driving the gen3 and getting back in my gen2, the gen2 felt stiff and jittery over bumps. Gen3 is a 35 truck. After driving both trucks for a year I really started noticing the differences.
Now the my gen2...
Awesome! Nothing like cutting a fresh trail. Looking forward to seeing your video. Not much coverage of the snoball on the forum from what I've found .
I hope you guys in the snoball consider yourselves blessed. We didn't have any snow to talk about before ,it stormed for you while you were...
I watched this on YouTube a couple days ago. Is this near the bark river Harris area? I'm not very familiar with that area.
Do you have footage from the peshekee grade run? That's more my stomping ground. It goes by my brother in laws camp and I know the snow was deep up there this year when...
The best way would be like was stated earlier and jack the truck up,pull the tires, knock the tie rod out of the knuckle and move each steering knuckle left to right by hand. They should move smoothly and easily.
Check the tie rod stud for freedom of movement also
Sure sounds like seized up balljoints to me. Basically goes any direction but straight causing you to constantly correct. Would most likely pass a front end inspection because there's no play in anything. They're too tight.
Installed front mudflaps, amber covers on the outer fogs and tonneau cover. Thank you Amber at real truck for the awesome deal and speedy service on the tonneau cover.
Been a little over a year since my dad past. I think of him most every day. Everyone's time of mourning is different. I don't want this thread to fade away because its important to remember our loved ones and more importantly to make things right before you can't. Embrace those moments before...
Did an oil change on the wife's truck .
Removed the air deflectors(or whatever they are), and adjusted the factory fog lights so they actually shine forward, lol.
Traded it in. Found a new 23 37pp on the lot of a dealership 100 miles from me built exactly the way I would have ordered one. Did some negotiating, but I felt they weren't giving me enough for my truck. Couldn't make a quick outright sale, so I let them sit on it. That backfired on me and...
I'm looking for a price on both the tuxedo lo pro and the pro x15, as I'm undecided on which one I want. Recommendations? Weathertech front mud flaps too. All for a 2023 raptor. Thank you
You tee in a vacuum gage and run it inside the vehicle. Start the truck and take it for a test drive. It does it once per ignition cycle, as soon you start the truck. They came up with this strategy because the early version of this system never engaged the hubs unless you engaged 4wd, which...
I thought my 2020 had one, but I'm not 100% on that. I had issues with my system awhile ago. Been good for probably 18 months now. Mine ended up being an iwe that was bad, allowing dirt in the system which would contaminate the check valve almost immediately after I would change it. They ended...
Pretty sure there's a vacuum pump involved also. Back of the passenger side cylinder head. If the IWE'S haven't been replaced and one or both are bad, they may have contaminated the system with dirt, depending on how much you've driven it since the line replacement. Dirt will ruin the check...
Adding boost is like adding compression. It only makes sense that higher octane fuel would allow more boost and timing without detonation. And unless you ran the tank down to empty, your comparison is skewed. Lots of outside factors can also change results such as wind and temperature
Not a chance. Well, if they said they would like to give me a new raptor of my choice for my current one so they could do research and testing on it, then yes. No to all other options.
Here I thought it was just me. Michigan has always sucked for the most part, but I just paid mine and it's up about 50% over last year. I figured it was just going up like everything else. No claims at all. Been with the same company for probably 10 years, which may be part of the reason....
At the rate we're going this year, deep snow doesn't look like it will be an issue. Although it can and usually does change quickly. First green Christmas in about 30 years.
Looks like the cedar creek crossing on the northwestern road to me. We were through there earlier this year in the sxs.
Can't say I've ran across many raptors out riding in the woods around here, snoball being the exception .
