I won't sell our current truck until the new one is at the dealership. I have 3 people who want to buy our gen 1, so hopefully it won't be a problem. Worst case scenario, i trade it in.
Yeah, I saw that too. Only options we ordered are moonroof/tailgate step, graphics and spray in bedliner. Hoping that will allow a no hold situation. They deleted the heated steering wheel, so that won't hold it up anyway.
Looked up my truck on ford's website. I have a Vin and a window sticker. Looks like it's scheduled to be built on 10/26, but I could be wrong. Sticker shows stop/start delete(yay!), heated steering wheel delete (boo!). Seeing that it's going to be built soon has made me excited, even without the...
If this is the case, put the rest of the architecture in the truck so they can sell me the correct steering wheel when they become available for $140 and I'll install it myself. Problem solved.;)
Lol, I've been using mine daily the past week or more. Hoping to find out what piece of the puzzle is missing and maybe fix it down the road at some point. Shouldn't be that difficult, should it? Steering wheel? Clock spring? Module and program? It would be nice to know and update later if at...
I only got out to ride a few times this year. Actually listed the bike for sale for awhile this year. Then, when I was riding yesterday, I was so glad it didn't sell. Seems I always have an excuse not to go riding. I need to stop the excuses and get out there more often. Helps keep you feeling...
Did a few hours of single track riding today. Most likely my last ride of the year. Had a unusually warm day today, so I took advantage of it. Yesterday morning it was 25⁰, today it hit 77⁰.
I'll be keeping my gen 2 for years yet. The truck I have on order is for my wife. She said she doesn't care about the heated steering wheel. I'm just disappointed that it probably won't come with it after paying for it. Is it possible they can retrofit it later on?
I received a text from my salesman today that my truck is scheduled to be built in November. Hope they don't delete the heated steering wheel cuz it gets used daily for almost 6 months of the year where I live. I'll be p!ssed if it's deleted
So we order a truck and spend thousands of dollars more than we want because you need beadlock wheels to get carbon fiber trim, or a moon roof to get the tailgate step, and then they're gonna decide for me if I'm going to get heated mirrors and/or a heated steering wheel? Add insult to injury...
6" superlift with the extended radius arms. The 37" boggers would contact the fenders during harder off road. Put 36's back on it now.
If you're shopping lifts, go with extended radius arms. Moves the mounting points back near the trans crossmember to tie everything together for strength...
I was thinking about bringing them type of bakery to go with coffee. People used to do that for us occasionally when I worked at a dealership. Always made me feel appreciated.
Picked up my truck today after work. Basically rebuilt the rear axle. Ring and pinion, all new bearings and seals. Noise is completely gone. Right rear speaker fixed my stereo and the chime now comes through the speakers like it should . Pretty happy with my dealership :)
Dropped my truck off at the dealership for a new rear ring and pinion and a right rear speaker replacement. Supposed to be done tomorrow at the end of the day.
What about the graphics with all the 8's? I kinda got the impression of them throwing the V8 thing back in everyone's face. Truck is not an option for me, but I did place an order for a 23 at msrp. Wanna get one more before the whole electric thing is forced down our throats . Hoping to make it...
I received 4 complimentary oil changes from them quite some time ago also. Basically a waste for me as I do all my own maintenance as well. I was wondering if you could use them on my other vehicle? Otherwise they'll go unused because I don't know what kind of oil they actually use.
Finally gave her a hand washing and scrubbed all the bugs off the front, applied rain-x to the windshield and moonroof, touched up a couple rock chips and installed some genuine motorcraft wiper blades:)
Throttle sensitive noise that sounds like a dry bearing sort of. Only hear it under a load. No noise on decel or that neutral spot you can find with the throttle. I thought maybe it was coming from the transfer case cuz it doesn't sound like a typical rear-end noise to me. Not very loud either.
A few days ago my warning chime started sounding through the ipc instead of the speakers. Did a little research on the forum here and found out it may be caused by a bad speaker. Did a little testing and sure as ****, the right rear speaker wasn't working at all. Youtubed how to remove the rear...
