GEN 2 Very important-engine shutoff not auto start/stop

being a business owner for the past 15+ years Ive learned people always want to blame someone else and there are alot of stupid people around. When someone dies or gets hurt, they will look to blame someone. The person that forgot to shut off their engine will blame Ford. "The engine should have...

Wagner Tuning Competition intercooler kit 2017+ Raptor

I would consider it plug and play but there is some minor trimming involved. Nothing that would prevent you from going back to stock for whatever reason.

GEN 2 Bad smell in AC system

Mold/mildew AC issues is very common across all manufactures. Cabin air filters is usually not the cause of the issue so in my opinion its a waste of money. We use Frigi fresh at our shop. Works great for customers, but proper maintenance is key. Make sure drain tube isnt clogged, Turn AC off...

    Would you buy?

2013 55k miles only had sunroof issue. 2019 only 3k miles no problems. I have a few customers with Raptors and have only needed regular maintenance needed. Its the same for business reviews. People tend to leave negative reviews more often then positive. People talk more about bad reviews vs...

    36 gallon distance

Just curious, is it common for alot of you guys to run empty or just doing this for testing? Most of the people I know including myself never run a car/truck until the gas light comes on. Always fill up before that. As a owner/auto tech, we hate working on cars with the gas light on.

    Any Interests in Titanium Exhaust?

I never said it doesn't need weight reduction. I'm just saying the cost to reduce the weight is not worthwhile. I am all for reducing weight but it has to be cost effective. There's alot of other mods you can do to save weight as well. I'm not putting TI lugnuts on my truck because I don't think...

    Any Interests in Titanium Exhaust?

I think its great you are trying to help develop new parts for the Raptor, but take a moment to know your audience. The weight savings to cost isnt worthwhile. There are many many manufacturers already making exhausts for the Raptor, and these systems already save weight over stock. Now going...

Best way to R&R Rear Shocks

Its pretty simple. There is a bolt on top and bolt on bottom. Some people prefer to do one at a time and some people will just unbolt both shocks and do them together. Make sure you support the rear axle before unbolting both shocks.

Wheel Wells: Line-X or Husky Insert?

I used rustoleum primer and bed liner in my 2013 and 2019. Paint held up in the 2013 for 6 years until I sold it. Maybe one or two chips at most. I did mild offroading several times a year, including snow, mud, gravel, dirt. 1 hour prep, 1 hour paint. Save couple hundred. Well worth it. I...

    Musty A/C Odor

AC mold/mildew smell is very common on BMW, Honda, Toyota, etc etc. We use Frigi-Fresh at our shop. Works great but smell will come back eventually if you don't figure out the source of mold/mildew. With any AC odor eliminator make sure you spray it into the intake side of the vents, not the...

    O2! sensors

Most of the time P0420 and P0430 codes are cat related. We see alot of people change their O2 sensors hoping it will fix the issue and end up getting new cats. Your car should still be covered under warranty so don't worry about it and bring it to the dealer.

    Aggressive Tires

I second this. Ive sold multiple sets of these to a few Toyota friends, they are all happy with them. I got to test these back to back against the BFG in the snow and they performed much better. The Falken's were the best all around tire for my needs. Some street use, some offroading in dirt/mud...

Auto Lift, 4 Post Bendpak HDS-14T & Others.

It comes down to personal preference and use. 2 post has a smaller footprint. 4 post can be handy to just drive on and lift up. They do make 2 post parking lifts also. I dont have experience with either of those. Regarding parking lifts, I've used Bendpak and Directed lifts. The Directed 4 post...
