I had two sets of KO2s and put a third on before I sold the truck. I got around 22k miles on a set and replaced them at 5-6/32. At 5/32 they start having notable trouble in heavy rain and definitely aren't going to be able to do what they're good at as well.
I recommend attempting a warranty...
Do the police enforce the front plate rule in your area? NH is a two plate state but for the most part they left me alone. Two verbal warnings in 3 years. I got the sense the high end vehicle puts them at ease about it because they get it's for looks, not because of anything nefarious.
Reality is that a dealer will sell as many as they stock. Doesn't mean they won't hold on to your deposit anyway if you back out. I'm pretty sure in most cases if you make enough of a stink you'll get it back, but their point is that they ordered the truck and it's easier to sell it to the...
$700 in brand new condition. I'll cover shipping. Tuner with the ECM and TCM maps is $1075 new from COBB.
Can't speak highly enough about these maps or the AP's ease of use. I'm selling this because I sold the truck. It is properly uninstalled from my old truck and ready for pairing with any...
Hope it's okay to post this here. Sold my truck because its value climbed $10k and I'm buying a house. I'm sure I'll get a Gen 3 in a couple years but for now I'm left with the Accessport and no truck to run it on.
I uninstalled it from the truck so it's good to go to install on another one...
Buying a house and the Raptor needs to go to cover furnishing. Hate to part with it but I'm sure I'll get into a Gen 3 in a few years.
Truck is mechanically perfect. Interior is perfect. Exterior has only minor flaws that will easily buff out with the exception of a few scratches on the tiny...
Any members in southern NH that can point me to a dealer that doesn't suck? I'm in south-west NH and I already drive 50 minutes to Hillsboro Ford because Monadnock Ford (closer to me) was totally incompetent.
Hillsboro Ford doesn't give a crap and my final straw was when BFG told me they needed...
A dealer just offered me $60.5k for a 2018 loaded without carbon and at 40k miles. I'd say you should be able to get $62-64k but in some markets probably more.
The numbers are all but known. Same output. Maybe a tiny bump in TQ and definitely hitting peak TQ at lower RPM. If you think Ford is rethinking the output you have no idea how the auto industry works. They have no need to stop and rethink adding more power. It'll sell fine with the same output...
Sorry but I think this is your error. It's not hard to find that they have the one-year limit and it's known that they enforce it. They were still doing RA doing COVID so that's unfortunately on you for assuming you'd get special treatment due to COVID. You might be able to try going to Ford to...
HOW?? I'm just shy of 41,000 miles and I'm about to replace my second set of KO2s. I got 22k from the first set and can probably eek out the same from this second set.
Nice. The market is crazy right now. I got an offer for $60.5k this week for my 2018 with 40k miles. Really tempting but I don't have a second vehicle and a Raptor is what I want to be driving.
It's a rough time to be buying any vehicle, never mind a limited enthusiast model that is in a production hiatus. The SoCal area is likely to run high on prices anyway, but all dealers are getting big money for all vehicles right now. New vehicle inventory is really tight due to supply chain...
Interesting service. Didn't know about it. They offered $58-60k for my 2018 with 40k miles. Tempting but I don't have a fun second car in the garage. Selling not to take advantage of the market also comes with buying in the same over-valued market if you don't have a second car.
All but confirmed. Ford has said same HP and a little more low-end torque from the exhaust change. Might not even have a higher peak TQ number. Just more of it sooner.
Quite likely it shuts down if the item plugged in takes an initial surge. A 200W item could have an 800W surge. If the system is setup to shut down completely if it detects over 400W, the surge might trip that.
I have a Baja Designs 3-pod setup with a quad spot, a quad spot/flood, and a double flood on each side. I run the double flood on the road most of the time. They're aimed low and wide. A Toyota, Honda, or Subaru will flash me once in a while but I don't really care. That happened before because...
Get a new summer residence in a pro gun area. I solve this problem by not living or vacationing in areas where criminals run around like they own the world.
Also don't you have insurance? Can't imagine insurance wouldn't cover theft of a cat.
I'd definitely try that if I could get it open but the problem is there's no way to open it.
The dealer just confirmed there is a recall related to tailgates inadvertently opening but they're not sure if they can get my issue covered by that since I'm having the inverse problem.
Yes. I lifted it up the little bit that it can be so it wasn't contacting the tailgate. It's the Ford OEM cover and you can lift it about an inch against the hold-down springs before it'll stop. You have to open the tailgate to release it fully. I've had the same cover since I bought the truck...
Specific to Canada and looks like it was an issue with inadvertent releasing. I'm having the opposite issue and the recall doesn't help me because 'Merica.
