There are a couple threads on F150forum that I just searched. The one I read actually plugged into the USB outlet in the tray and then routed cables to the large console. I'd want it cleaner and would do all that behind the plug out of sight. Here is one search result...
Actually just looked at that thread and realized I had not yet switched to that USB location. Sorry I don't think I have pictures...but this is the data blocker I used in the lower console location and then the cable just exits at the corner of the cubby pinched slightly by the closed...
I assume splitting off the USB feed line to the outlet would not be a problem if you wanted to open things up. I'm not a fan of CarPlay but I like that location for plugging in to charge...so I use a data blocker in front of a short right angle cable and mount my phone outside magnetically...
I’ll keep it in mind for next year. Tell me a bit about the terrain you have mapped...is it best to be able to air down/up at trailhead? Stock tires alright?
Final NOTE to Ford designers...it would sure be nice if you took a feature from Porsche. On the Porsche when you don't want the interior sensors active, you just double press the door handle touch sensor or double press the key fob lock button. Car responds with a long light sequence and...
Your explanation about the headliner guy seems the most likely. Upfitter switches are a separate connector from the motions sensors I believe...so could easily have connected one and not the other.
There IS NOT. When you change it in Advanced Settings it will be active for the next time you lock the truck, then automatically reverts to FULL arming of doors, tailgate, hood and motion sensors.
You can select Ask on Exit which will present you the choice each time you leave your truck...but...
The procedure that I stated above is how I remember storing everything. It should be noted it varies slightly from the procedure linked in the spreadsheet. The spreadsheet link adds a button press of the memory position after turning on the truck (never a bad idea to be sure you're adjusting...
You're making it waaaaay too complicated. Once reverse mirror feature is enabled in FORScan all you have to do is add the reverse mirror position to your existing stored button. In my case button #1. So get in your truck. Start the engine. Then with your foot on the brake, shift into...
I already bought one. I mean, what is the price of an oil change? Or the truck for that matter? What’s $80 for the freedom to not have a dealer wreck your vehicle? It cost me well over $80 in time and hassle for my last dealer visit.
Ronin recommends that you raise the driver’s side of the truck. when I did that the truck oil refill amount was nearly max dry capacity...so seems like a good suggestion. Details in another thread. One other note for DIY oil changers is Ford service manual’s point of NOT lubricating the filter...
One correction right off...as this is not a Fomoto Valve as it says in the title. It is made by Fumoto.
There are a couple that will work...again just for clarity, this is for GEN2 trucks with the metal oil pan. This is not for GEN2 trucks that have the plastic oil pan and the yellow plastic...
Well yes, cao0215 many of us know how to successfully connect to the truck. Nice of two0seven to come back to you after a month. If you're serious about connecting and want help let's start with the basics. Which adapter do you have? Have you read the tutorial? What have you tried? Are you...

I haul my snowmobile in the bed in the winter...most of the 450lbs (the sled's engine) sits in front of the rear wheels. Definitely still sags the rear end. Enough that I've considered the Deavers. I wouldn't do them only for the sled hauling but seems there are other benefits as well. Seems...
F'ing unreal!! Glad I'm not the only one. I have no dealer at the moment either. Brought mine in for the warranty transmission and seat belt fixes and they backed it out of their bay into another vehicle. Also required a bumper repaint and a side skirt panel.
Sorry I don't know more about...
See here we've reached the point in time to clarify your desires.
1) Do you just want to know how members on this forum have effectively disabled the Auto-Start-Stop function of the truck?
or
2) Do you really wanna know what that particular wire connected to your battery's negative terminal...
Makes perfect sense. I definitely thought I could do better...and maybe in certain circumstances I could.
You bring up a good point about the programming being overly nanny-ish in situations like basic rain.
I felt the same way when I got my Gen2. "No way the truck can do better than amazing me!" And I drove in 4A a lot during the first month of winter.
Having been to Raptor Assault, but more importantly having driven in significant amounts of snow and ice covered roads and variable chunky melt...
