Thanks again Goosetuned for the stage 2 tune the truck rips! More power everywhere, it seems to accelerate easier at light and moderate throttle too which seems to be making my mpgs better maybe? I was averaging 13.7 according to the dash but after yesterdays same type of driving(well a little...
It reminds me more of a stamped metal but its plastic honestly it looks pretty good IMO... The carbon pack is real carbon fiber I believe... From a distance though yeah I can see the carbon fiber resemblance
Yes the Cobb intercooler fits, I installed one on mine(check the intercooler install thread). It comes with two hoses/couplers one for gen 2 and one for gen 3.
Went with the Cobb(if it’s what @GooseTuned plans to use it’s good enough for me)I also opted to plug the shutter motors back in and tie them out of the way, just so I know the truck isn’t throwing codes. Appreciate the help from everyone! *did not need to remove the bumper
Mid install do you have to remove that bottom shutter piece too? Everything bolted up with it still in place. Also kinda confused on the shutter motor does it stay in operation and the truck still thinks it’s doing it’s job?
Anyone know which requires less trimming Cobb or SVC or is it negligible? Looks like the SVC jumped up in price to 1600 where the Cobb is 1450.. about to pull the trigger today.
Did you order straight from Cobb to get the new coupler? I'm torn between the SVC and Cobb and this was one of the reasons(didn't want to have to find a new coupler)
HMMM... The GEN 3 has new pistons(higher compression) new turbos and new 3" exhaust so to say nothing is different is WRONG. I do agree though that its the computer tuning strategy because its obvious ford put a hotter tune down low from the factory since the GEN 3 puts the power down better...
I have 5 37PP wheels removed off my truck at around 300 miles(some have light blemishes on rings, mainly the spare wheel) asking 2k obo prefer local pick up but may ship if buyer pays shipping. Located in Corpus Christi,Tx.
