Personally i don’t like Baja mode, when running offroad track (unless muddy) i use RWD, TC off and manual shifting that way i have full control and you have to high rev unless you are doing sightseeing :)
It’s not for the engine for sure, it’s to keep the “tree huggers” happy as this results in reduced emissions, it’s stupid - you can do this on the main stream vehicles and leave the top-end, sport-oriented models alone.
Ford GT owners won’t agree to this thing, same goes for the Shellby GT-500...
Mine also went out couple if months, apparently Ford has “backlog” of the part and until now my dealer (North Texas area) didn’t get one, i called couple of other dealerships - all with same answer, “backorder”.
Stupid Ford makes about 80 Raptors a day which then sit long on dealer lots before...
thanks, glare is not that bad and distance on the bumper is good enough but the flood angel on the pillars gives me better light especially on corners and tight spots, i see the branches before they hit my side mirrors :)
thanks @goblues38, just saved me a bunch of money.
I’ll take a 10x improvement to begin with, So if i just start with a decent 400-500$ amp? Is it just “plug&play” or do i need to rewire anything back to the dash/speakers?
with the mods he will put in the Gen2 he will probably loose that bumper to bumper warranty anyway, or most of it...
I like your idea, definitely would have gone that route if i wanted to heavily modify - result would be much better and sound a lot better.
can one disable it w/out taking the dash out?
I want to just replace door speakers, will i get better and louder sound or do i need to go all the way with amp and sub too?
