    A good OBD2 adapter AND FORScan will do. Took me a little while to figure out as I was first time using FORScan. You can find a lot of info on the forum/net.

    So I bought this box. It will add wireless carplay to sync2. A bit more works involved than sync3 conversion according to the installation video but much cheaper. Just checking if anyone tried this.

    I was running like that for more than one year without knowing one side flicks lol.... until one day I parked in front of a big glass window. Forscan, turn factory DRL off, that fixed mine.

    The intercooler is still in the way with newer system. I remember they share same mounting points. Easier than old design but I still had to kinda loose intercooler mount then forced the headlights in.
