Yeah I was thinking of swapping out a relay.
As far as checking the right wire, I have checked each AUX hot wire behind the glove box for power, 3 have power 1 does not. AUX3 wire is dead.
Do the hot AUX hot wires come directly from the fuse/relay ?
Fuse in 44 position is good
So where do the hot wires behind the glove box come from exactly? Not sure where to start tracing back to to figure out where the power interruption is.
Could it be a bad relay?
If I have power at my Aux3 switch (switch light works) but no power at the AUX3 wire behind the glovebox ( I do have power at the other 3 wires) .. I assume the fuse is fine since I have power to the switch light.
I don't have a wiring schematic so Im not sure of the inline order. Does the...
If I have power at my Aux3 switch (switch light works) but no power at the AUX3 wire behind the glovebox, can I rule out a relay wiring problem? Seems like the relay is between the power and the switch?
Is this the inline order?
12V - fuse - relay -switch - wires under dash
Sorry, off topic...
Thanks of the post on wiring my upfitter switches, very helpful.
Problem: The Aux3 switch wire behind the glovebox has no power. Im thinking it is either the connection at the switch, or the relay? Im not sure where inline the relay is … between the switch and the wire end behind the glovebox...
Thanks, i saw that which really helped with getting the wires behind the glove box out where I could work with them.
Switch light works so I think the the fuse must be good. I think it must be the connection at the swith or the relay?
Thanks, appreciate that. I got everything wired off the front bumper but damn one of the switch wires behind the glove box has no power. Maybe a bad connection at the switch?
I think this is everything I will be putting on the switches, so your switch set up sounds good.
I like your idea of having the rears come on in reverse ... I'm not familiar with how to wire the relay ... Maybe someone can post a how-to link on that.
So I have everything mounted up - now for the fun part ha! figure its a 6 pack job :)
10 Duallys up front (6 spot, 4 flood)
20 " bar in bumper
2 Duallys in back bumper
- Thinking of putting all front duallys on switch 1 , wire all hot leads together and all ground together (but I could put...
Thanks … Which do i not need? rear LCA bolts and cam washers?
Also, do I still need to drill a 3rd hole in each frame horn for the upper mounts? or not since the lower bumper mounts to the LCA mount?
Jake, NO … those aren't the instructions for the Race Seriers R … not even close.

OK Jake,
SO there are 4 LCA bolts --- WHY? - I know there are front and rear LCA bolts, but why are there rears? the...
LOL … well you drill a 3rd hole in each frame horn for the other bumpers but who the hell knows with this one HA!

Hmmm yeah not knowing why they sent cam washers and the rear LCA bolts is confusing...
I will probably just take it into the shop, because you can't really mark the spot to drill the extra mounting hole in the frame horn properly unless you take off the LCA nut and back out the bolt so that the lower bumper mount fits flush against the frame.
The cam washers seem useless since...
Yeah, I don't know what the cam washers are for really, and why is there even a replacement LCA rear bolt?
Anyone know if the LCA bolt can be pulled and replaced with the longer one with the truck on the ground? … without the LCA moving?
Has anyone installed the new front Addictive Desert Designs race series R front bumper. There are No directions on the ADD website duh! Its pretty straight forward other than connecting to the lower control arm.

Beadblaster, sounds like an awesome trip. I am heading to Telluride next week for a few days after dropping my son off for college in Durango. Ophir and Imogene Pass look fun. Black Bear looks a sketchy tight. The Alpine loop trails look fun, any recommendations that are drivable, not looking...
I went directly to the FOX people we know from racing bikes… think about it, why are there 3 perch settings to begin with .. certainly NOT because FOX doesn't recommend it, its a Ford thing.
here ya go .. and yes Im positive they don't have "friction" lol … I researched a LOT before going with 0" offset, and my truck has been bounced pretty good in Moab.
The salt they put on the roads here in UT literally dissolved the zinc coating on the bolts in one winter so I doubt rustoleum paint would hold up. I never liked the gold look anyway and stainless is the ticket.
I replaced the rusting zinc coated bolts on my Doulbe Standars with the silver/stainless bolts that come with the Standards and the new Mesh - IMO they look way better and will hold up to road salt. The zinc coated bolts were trashed in less than 6 months.
