I see a lot of guys here have installed Geiser springs that raise the front end 2.5 inches. This surely must negatively impact the extension stroke and compression sag of the shock for functional off-roading.
I’m sure it’s fine for street trucks, which many on here are, but I assume 2.5” is...
Agreed! between +6 and +20 is ideal IMO.
My opinion is NOT based on rubbing issues because I am bumped up 1.5” anyway, it’s because now I want my tires flush/inboard because I’m tired of my 0 offset Methods spewing all over my truck. Also, I would never buy Methods again, but that’s a...
Don’t ageee. 0 offset will spew a shit load of whatever you’re driving on all over your truck. I have Methods with 0 offset on my 13 and they stick out enough that snow from the front tires flies past my window and all over my truck lol. I’ll be going with something more flush with my new 2018.
With the new leafs never ever let your shock be the limiter of suspension drop. Get adjustable straps that will stop travel at least 1/2 inch before full shock extension. Also, The strap will stretch quite a bit so you need to measure the drop and shock travel with the full weight of the axle...
Im buying a new 18 and understand the coilovers no longer have the 3 adjustment positions any more? Why on earth would Fox eliminate that adjustability? I ran my 13 in the middle position to level the truck and it worked perfectly.
So now I need to buy aftermarket collars to level the truck...
I ordered my Race R with no side light cutouts, seemed like overkill considering the outer duallys can be aimed to give a lot of side light.
Mine had the ghetto light tape as well, i threw it away.

The amber light bar is very very bright, so I would'nt use it on the street unless you have it angled slightly down a little so that the spots dont blind oncoming traffic. That's how I am running the amber bar. I will take some beam shots so you can see the peripheral with the amber.
OEM...
Posted in case anyone is trying to decide on going Amber - I think the 20" Amber looks great with just the Amber parking lights on. I took the pic before it got too dark otherwise the lights are WAY too bright :)

Now that mine is all mounted I can probably clear some things up.
-ADD sends front and rear LCA bolts and cam washers. You ONLY need to replace the front bolts which are longer than stock to accommodate the bumper mount.
-They send cam washers for all of the bolts. The cam washers are supposed...
So as it turns out I needed to actually quadruple check the wiring. The original diagram I was looking at had the wrong color codes for the wires, but I was still a dork and should have metered all of the wires under the dash first. Problem solved ... had two hot supply wires connected. Thanks...
Ok, I will do that, but I am going to meter the relay box connections again today. Yesterday When the AUX3 relay is switched ON the second (middle) large post connection and one of the small posts connections go hot. With the switch off only one large post is HOT. The other relays (1,2,4)...
I swapped each of the relays in the box off the drivers side firewall to the AUX1 relay that is hooked to 10 forward duallys. All of the relays worked at position 1 so I think the relay is good.
Is the terminal 87 circuit just the wire from the relay to the hot supply behind the glove box...
I swapped all of the relays in the drivers side relay box with the relay for AUX 1 and all relays work fine. (there are 5, 4 for switches 1 for front camera)
If 12V power goes to the fuse block, then to the relay, and then splits from the relay to the supply wires (behind glovebox) and to the...
No problem asking, I appreciate the help.
Pretty sure I have the wires right. I have lights on AUX1 (yellow-red), AUX2 (Green/blu - Green) working fine. The AUX 3 hot (purple/green connected to Blue) is dead (checked at the connection behind the glovebox), and the AUX4 (small brown - small...
