Looks good. How many miles are on the truck ? It looks like the rear leafs haven’t sagged out yet, and they may not much if you don’t ever load up the back end.
I think most trucks will increase the front end height nearly the exact same amount with the same Eibach spring. I think in many pics it’s not the front that’s actually different, it’s the front looking different because the back end is sagged out or not. There is far more variability in the...
First off thanks everyone, there has been a ton of helpful info here in this thread. I installed the Eibachs today, pretty easy swap.
As expected the front end came up about 2 inches. The second pic has a half tank of gas and nothing in the bed the measurement from the wheel lip to the fender...
I’m considering the SVC Baja and the ADD PRO front bumpers. Both are frame cut bumpers, and they look nearly identical.
I had ADD bumpers on my last Raptor and the powder coating was not good. They rusted at every seam and at most welds. They claim the product is better now.
Any opinions...
Set of (5) Brand new 2018 Ford Performance Forged Aluminum 17" x 8.5" Matte Black Bead-Lock Wheel from Ford Performance. $1300 for all 5 ...OR BEST OFFER
The face of the wheel is painted in a matte black finish. The trim ring is painted in a magnetic grey. I had the wheels on the truck for 35...
If you bottom out the suspension with 37s, with the wheels turned a little, with 0 offset wheels, you will blow up your fenders. That's why they make wider fenders for use with 37s. Geiser springs will only keep you from bottoming out as much as stock. But bottomed out is bottomed out, no...
Ive run mine hard for 85k and they work fine.
It may just be your leaf springs, the stock leafs are crap. I have a new 18 coming next week and I will immediately replace the leaf springs with Deavers.
Looks great ! Are your leaf springs stock?
I think I’m going with a similar looking ADD on my 18 when it gets in. Which bumper is that?
I’m probably going to go with the Camburg 2” collar and a Deaver leaf that bring the rear end up an inch and gets rid of the block.
Hmmm, sounds like for that “certain look” you want maybe you should have just bought an F250 with a useless 6” highboy block lift ... because it sounds like what you want isn’t even functional for actual off-roading.
I see that the 18" Methods have a +18 offset on a 9" wide wheel. That wheel with a full inch more backspace would be about 1/2 inch in from my 0 offset 8.5 wide wheels. That size would be better, but after my last Methods I'm not a fan.
My new 2018 will be here in a few weeks. Looking for +12 or more offset 17-18" wheels so the tire will be flush to slightly inside the flare lip.
I'm SO tired of all the mud and snow roost flying up all over my truck from 0 offset 8.5 wide Methods on my 13. There are a few +6 wheels like Fuel...
Exactly, and why taking all the extension stroke out of maybe 8” of travel can’t be good. In my opinion of course.
I’ll be putting the truck on the lift and pulling the shocks off my 18 as soon as it comes in. I’ll measure the fronts and backs then.
I’m also going to look for springs that lift...
Agree with nearly everything you said .. which was essentailly my point, and also why I asked if anyone had actually measured the full stroke.
Like you I think 1.5” is fine, which is what I did on my 13 and I will do on my 18. But 2.5 -3” just seems like it’s probably too much for the stock...
Fox and King are comparable shocks. Icon not even in the running. We run Kings because they are great to work with when they need to be rebuilt or revalved.
Like they other member asked, wtf would you buy new expensive shocks if you don’t off-road? Throw on some collars and rear springs for a...
