I have Geiser front springs and Deaver plus 2 rear springs which is the same as stock Height in the back with Method 17” rims and 37” BFG tires. I have zero rubbing on my gen 2 and the rear sits a very tiny bit lower. It’s very hard to notice unless you’re really looking for it.
We took soft boards, the hotel had hard boards, and we have a buddy down there with a 11’ soft top and some nice hard boards. Everyone was able to ride the big soft top. All the wives even stood up and surfed. Great time.
I think Thule has bed rail mount system that is removable and gets the...
It depends on the backspacing of the wheel. I have Method 17” wheels and I’ve had zero rubbing. Not even when I went to Moab and was in some pretty twisted up spots.
A bunch of us got together and headed south with Cameron Steele and the guys from Baja HQ. We left Thursday AM and got home Sunday evening. Took the kids and wives. It was an epic trip. Some of the group stayed down there to support Cameron Steele on his main prerun trip for the Baja 500...
The Fox shocks with the DSC adjusters are amazing and super easy to tune, no need for a tuner. You just dial up whatever you want, soft for pavement, reach in and turn a couple clicks and boom, you’re ready for baja.
It doesn’t have to be rocket science.
PS. I have the Geiser progressive...
Cameron Steele and the Desert Assassins do a ton of charity work and fund raising for the Rancho Santa Marta Orphenage so we stopped by there to make some donations. One of the guys from the Baja HQ did some “rock” climbing for the kids
I just got back from a pre 500 fun run in Baja. I went down with the guys from Baja HQ and it was a blast. The Geiser front springs with the Deaver +2” worked amazing. The 37” BFG on Method 17’s worked really well for me too aired down to 24 in the front and 22 in the rear. I had a 2012 and I’m...
Just got the Shortbus back from Baja HQ. They installed the Baja Designs Fog light pocket kit. It looks great! I’ll get some pics tonight of how the lights do. I went with the “pro” level kit.
Just got the Baja Designs fog light pocket installed at The Baja HQ. I’ll find out how much I really like them tonight. The Short bus is ready for some nighttime shenanigans!
I went with the “pro” level kit.
It’s a ways south of you but I’d check out The Baja HQ down in Orange County CA. You could hang out on the beach while they trick out your truck.

This is going to be fun. A bunch of the top Trophy Truck racers sit down and talk about the san Felipe 250 and how their race went. Should be some good info and fun trash talk too.
Rob Mac, Cameron Steele, Andy, Dan, and Luke McMillin with crazy Pistol Pete too. Rob Mac calling in now but Ryan...

To my understanding it should be the same. The Deaver’s remove the stock 2” block so in theory it should be the same.
You could call Deaver and see what they say to be sure.

I have Geisers and Deaver +2. The front is a hair higher but I like the “baja” look as I’ve spent the last 10 years as part of Cameron Steele’s Trophy Truck team. I have a super cab and I really dig the look with 37” bfg’s It’s only a tiny bit lower in the rear.
The Geisers are stiffer than...
I get it but I’m okay with 15-16 mpg. My 2012 I sold did 12.2 Highway.
9 mpg around town and 7 mpg out wheeling. That drove me nuts. We all have our own limits.

PS. I have never gotten 19 in my raptor, even...
15.6 driving up to Moab @ 85 mph, and I mean up. I live at sea level in san clemente so up Cajun pass, up all the passes to stateline then up to Utah and through the passes on the 70.
Did 12.8 wheeling and 16.2 cruising around town in Moab. 30 mph limit for most of Moab.
13.2 home downhill at...
