Ok so I just got some gas, filled her up about 8/10ths, drove away, and the noise happened a couple of times. Hard to believe that it's a coincidence. Anyone know if there's something in the gas tank that shifts by design depending on how much fuel there is in it?
Ok so it seems to be pretty common and normal ... just like everyone else I only hear it maybe once a week at most.
The filling up with gas thing maybe something to pay attention to, because the last few times I heard it I think I had just gotten fuel. I have to get some later today so I'll be...
So I google searched this but found so many results with all sorts of issues that I thought I would just ask in case someone has an answer at the ready ...
I've noticed this noise coming from the rear of my truck almost from the time it was new. It happens infrequently at lower speeds and...
I didn't want to start a new thread so I hope it's ok to post this question here ...
I'm doing the course tomorrow and I wanted to know what time it ends so I can make dinner plans. It doesn't give that info on the FAQ page so if anyone has taken the course could you please let me know?
Thanks
I love my Raptor and it performs like a champ, but this is the only vehicle I’ve ever owned that I’d pay money to mute any exhaust sound. There’s literally nothing that will make it sound better. It’s like Adriana Lima on helium.
Well, the raptor is about to go dormant in storage for a few months ...
I'm leaving AZ in a day and won't be back till June 1st, right after I take the Raptor Assault course at the end of May. Good news is that I'll be in AZ for the whole month of June to have more fun in the sand.
In the...
Some pics and vids from my Jerome to Williams excursion through Perkinsville.
This is just outside Jerome, at the top of the Mingus mountain range, looking down onto the entire Verde valley and all the way to the Flagstaff mountains.

Picked her up today from ADD after they installed the +3 Deaver springs, readjusted the front SVC collars to level, and realigned. She sits a little higher now, but more importantly rides a LOT better. All the weight in the bed was just too much for the OEM springs and she was getting sloppy...
Because with the intercooler relocation kit it was going to be the most expensive winch in the history of mankind. I will manage with a recovery kit and with having other people running with me to pull me out of trouble when I get to the more remote areas. And I always have the sat sos button...
So I put her through her paces today ... nothing high speed, just a kidney busting 12 miles of unmovable rocks that took about an hour to complete. It’s called Schnebly Hill Rd, and starts at around 7000ft off of 17 south of Flagstaff and drops into Sedona from the east. Some of the most...
I didn’t use rpg, I used the svc adjustable collars. After a couple of hundred miles today I can honestly say the ride is identical to stock. It is however a little louder at highway speeds with the toyo m/t tires.
I just went for a little night off road run and I can’t tell you how...
I got the wheels from ADD as they are a Rotiform dealer, and they also got the tires, new tps, and lug nuts for me and had everything balanced and installed.
Thanks and of course I don’t mind if you copy the setup.
The wheel/tire sizes are exactly the same as OEM other than the offset that pushes everything outwards. I think they might look bigger because of the more aggresssive tread, aforementioned offset, and leveling kit.
And yes it 6x135 bolt...
