I don't think "most" shops use forscan. They'll install your spacers and send you on your way. Ford can do it, they use a different system called FDRS. Forscan is extremely easy, although I do get it being a bit daunting at first. I've offered to help remotely via TeamViewer if you're really stuck.
Odd..8% is where the old versions of forscan were stalling then getting access denied. I ran on the test version I linked, on a win 10 laptop with no issues. Several off-road shops and other members have messaged me letting me know it works.
Well, SVC machined new spacers for me and one other member on this board. They are in fact half the size. I'm having the original spacers removed tomorrow and these new ones installed. Hopefully i'll be level this time around, vs being 1" nose high. I'll recalibrate the shocks after the new...
We can now calibrate our shocks using forscan, you NEED test build 2.3.48 test20220604 to be able to do this. I followed the steps for the GEN 2 using this test build and was able to successfully calibrate the ride height.
Here is the direct download to the test build...
Not sure what you mean by code, but it doesn’t work for the Gen 3s like it does for the Gen 2s. As of right now, it has to be done by the dealer using FDRS
For those wondering about resetting the Fox live shocks after a level using forscan (v2.3.48) it still does not work. It’s now called VDM On-Board Scales - Height Sensor Calibration. I get to 8% then receive an Access Denied error. I have let forscan know about this as they were interested to...
Can someone help me, I overwrote a line I shouldn’t have and it disabled a feature.
IPMA 706-01-02
Can someone give me the defaults for this line? I though I backed up everything but cannot find the file.
Thanks for the info. I don't want to go into forscan without knowing the correct modules or value that i should be modifying. Hopefully someone will have info on that soon.
Agreed. I am talking to another member here, who's truck is currently with SVC while they try and figure out where they messed up. I called and talked to the owner of SVC and he stated he would get this figured out and send a new pair of collars. Don't know how long this will take, but hope its...
I finally got around to having these installed. First things first, the front definitely sits higher than the back. When i first saw the truck, I was pretty disappointed right off the bat. Secondly, the ride is absolute sh*t compared to stock. I've already made an appt to have them uninstalled...
Why doesn’t that surprise me
When I'm able to save up enough for a new system, ill address them then. Possibly spray them and cover everything inside. Don't care about those speakers anyway.
