Since this sub-section of the Gen 3 forum seems a bit dead, I thought I’d share what I plan on having installed in the next few weeks (second week of November). I’ve always upgraded my stereo in every car/truck and this B&O system definitely needs an overhaul.
The install will be performed by a...
I have experienced this too, called the dealer I purchased my truck from and they told me I could get in about 6 weeks later. I laughed and hung up. I have gone by dealers and their service bays don’t look busy at all. Shortage of techs?
I called a different dealer and they were able to schedule...
The wrap shop I went to told me as before he started wrapping my roof that vinyl wraps are temporary. Take care of them while theyre on the truck, but do not leave the wrap on for years and years.
So I will chime in. I don’t do a ton of off-roading, at least not enough the justify BD squadron lights. I like to drive Offroad when camping and get to areas I wouldn’t normally go. I live up in the mountains and do a lot of driving on very dark mountain roads and snow. The DD lights seemed...
Didn’t want a FMI and the price…honestly it’s a few hundred in price end of day, but CV Fab has been great in terms of customer service. Figured I’d try them out
Second, lining up the pipes and then trying to fish them through the engine compartment was a nightmare. If I had the OEM style clamps on hand to swap out, it may have been a different experience. I ended up only using the cold side pipe.
Everything goes on in reverse order. I placed the fans...
Once that’s done, its time to setup the Titan 2. Obligatory Titan 2 vs stock IC.
Everything from stock IC should swap over to the Titan 2 ( BOV, hoses, rubber mounts). When attaching the BOV to the Titan 2, don’t over tighten the screw (course threaded screw). I made that mistake and snapped...
Installed the CVFab Titan 2 on my 2022 Raptor. The install is pretty straight forward, not difficult, just time consuming. I’m sure as with all aftermarket ICs, the fit is very tight.
Removing the bumper is not necessary. You need to remove the skid plate to access the IC and the connections...
Does anyone know how to move .fsl files in Forscan? I ran some tests using the live PID Oscilloscope, saved the file but cannot see the actual file on my C drive. If I use Load Log from File icon in Forscan i can magically see the file. I need to share this file and have no way of accessing the...
No idea....I went to the live valve shocks, made sure all of the sensors were seated correctly, then went to the fuses under the hood and pushed them all down. Seemed like quite a few fuses weren't seated all the way. Ever since i did this, it hasn't happened again.
Additional tubing was sent incase the IC doesn't fit with what was supplied. I cant comment yet as I don't have everything. I believe CVF will package everything that is needed for the raptor once all the test fitting is complete.
