So, scheduling is done on Wednesdays and updated to reflect on Thursday.
Priority code 19 means nothing to ford, only for the dealer.
Btw, if you had your order submitted back in October, but still do not have a build date or VIN, I’d be very skeptical of that dealer.
Your order is in the...
The shops here refused to do my fender wells also. So, after seeing what another member here did, I bought the Raptor Liner stuff from U-Pol and will spray the wells myself.
My truck is parked in the garage now. More worried about road trips or lesser known places.
The time someone tried to break in via the door handle was in a lowes parking lot. I was in the store for 10 minutes.
I was originally 2/7 build date, pushed to 2/15 and got bumped up one day to 2/14. Been holding at that date for about 2 weeks now. Fingers crossed it sticks!
Not sure how much truth there is to this, but I read on a Raptor FB group that west coast dealers are buying trucks from out of state dealers for markup and then selling those trucks for an even higher markup. Pretty wild if true
I've had 3 F150s, and on my last one, I had someone try to punch out the cylinder on the drivers side door handle. They must have been inexperienced because they never got in, but the damage was done nonetheless. Curious if anyone has done anything on these Gen 3s to stop that. I am familiar...
Tracker isnt working for me today. Congrats on that "early" build
EDIT: I tried the order track on a different IP and laptop and tracking worked. No bump here
Depends on how long the finance offer is valid. Should tell you somewhere, or call. My credit union is good for 30 days from the time of approval. If I dont have the truck within that 30 day timeframe, I have to provide a paystub to "refresh" the offer.
Why not stick with your original order, and order from another dealer as well. If they require a down payment, ask that it’s refundable. It’s a waiting game for all, but to still be unscheduled clean from an October order would have me pissed as well. I would have asked for the zone/regional...
Time to reach out to your dealer and find out if they actually have allocations. If they do, ask them which month they plan on adding you to. If they cant answer, ask for the zone reps contact info. Get some answers. I was an early October order and my allocation was picked up with my dealers...
Might as well order. Going to take at least 6 months. Should give you plenty of time to make your mind up. Worst case scenario, order it, and when the time comes if you don’t want it, tell the dealer you’ve moved on. Dealer won’t care, they’ll have no issue moving it.
