It wasn't so bad when I bought a brand new gen1 for 40k out the door. I didn't give 2 Fs about what I did to it, why would I? Forum has changed because the truck went from a primary funbox to a primary exotic Starbucks machine.
You can see the rash in the paint below from what I believe was a hopping rock from the freeway.
Boo... 1 week and 1300 miles in... battle wounds. My ppf, paint correction and ceramic coating wasn't scheduled until 3/21 so i still have almost 2 more weeks of being nervous driving her around...
No, but I don't believe for one second that the Raptor R will be $95k. I believe many here are underestimating the FoMoCo halo. We already witnessed a $10k msrp increase to gen3 followed by now a $3k increase to base gen3 my22. The Raptor R will likely start at $99k before destination bringing...
I hope it is by invite only, it almost assuredly would make me an owner due to my Gen2, and now 37pp gen3 brand new purchases amongst other Fords including gt350, mustangs, explorers et al.. it would honestly be great lol.
For now, I'm gonna bask in the greatness of my gen3 and won't need to...
I wish! The bike seat actually was under the bumper and the rear was just touching the wall and it still couldn't fit. I think I could put it in straight in the 3rd stall but I'd have to remove the work bench area. Probs will do that in the spring as with where my Tesla charger is its gonna be...
857 miles after 2 days of ownership making my way back from MO to MN. Absolutely love it.
However... doesn't look like 39s will be in my future if I want to make it in my garage without a remodel...!
Definitely disagree. While at times I can look at my Gen3 and think a certain front end angle may appear better on my old Avalanche Gen2.. the Gen3 rear looks way better from every angle. I also think the straight on side angle looks better.
This is just like the F80 M3 owners club.. every...
Emotions took my better judgement. I shouldn't have taken delivery today, but I had to. Drove 8 hours, slept for 3, drove another 3 through a snow storm. Drove another 3 back to my resort through an even more extreme storm.. but I wasn't waiting any longer. It was ready and now it's mine!
First...
I think all MY22 regardless of trim for multiple Fords including Bronco/F150 this happened to. I believe even the Limited F150 wasn't spared the cost cutting unfortunately for MY22.
IMO it'll make the MY21s all the more valuable, it reminds me of MY17 to MY18 getting rid of mycolor amongst...
Same exact thing happened to me. Twice(although one was an allocation issue, the other was straight taking my order that I had a much larger deposit down on).
Regardless, thanks to the forum I was still able to land a CO 37pp that I'm supposed to pickup on Thursday morning. Much like anyone...
So I ended up doing just this.. almost.. except I didn't even need to tip. I reached out and asked what was going on, they said they could deliver it anytime and it they did last night! I'm excited but also still a tad annoyed that all it took was a call from me to get the ball rolling vs the...
Arrival at the yard isn't the same as it being released. Dealer has said it's released with their phone call saying it's ready for delivery. (That was back on the 12th when I was given the 14th as a date for pickup).
If the vehicle was just sitting at the yard and not yet released, it would be...
4 weeks from being released from the rail yard to the dealer? I've called dealers in the past and got my vehicle within a day or two. 4 weeks sounds like someone forgot about you.
This post is likely more for therapeutic reasons than actually getting some information that would lead to securing my truck.. but alas.. if anyone has anything else to try let me know.
Truck build early January MY21, shipped on the 13th, arrived and placed at the rail yard about 2 hours from...
All I know is the gen2 was 0 to 60 in 10 days with 37s. First hand experience and vids on YouTube will show you that. I don't know what all they did to make the gen3 better but it was obviously significant.
And so said every 35" owner when gen2 guys bloated their trucks with 37s.
I think the most impressive feat on the gen3 is that the gearing and rear end allowed for the truck to still be quick on these tires whereas the gen2 was a dog without a tune.
Did you have to wait at all from delivery to get the new window sticker? I've been hearing it's been causing some delays. Did you sign the bluecruise paper as well? It *sounds* like my Raptor will finally arrive on 2/20 but best case scenario I still need the rivet recall + it sounds like a new...
My Bronco FE has the same tires on the TRX. I believe they are better in SNOW and on wet conditions thus far through this winter than my last set of K02s on my old 2017 Raptor.
That said, the new suspension setup I'm super excited for to try out with the 37s for the last part of our MN winter...
