I was being facetious but I'm not going to sell it to anyone.. my tax advantage will be too great to simply trade it in for the $100k with less hassle. I'd love to give it to a member, but it wouldn't make much sense.
Could wake up and think different, but with (allegedly) my Raptor R on lock I feel I should unload this now. I had a lot of fun with it.. I put 6100 miles on it thus far. Just an absolute joy to drive. My Rivian is also finally right around the corner I got Guide contact so I may be seeing that...
Ford was removing them from orders to ship more out. The MY22 Raptors will all be peasant class boosting up significantly my MY21 37 Package that's without compromise.
When I had my truck done they threw xpel on my carbon on one piece to see what I thought.. told them rip it right out lol. I'm sure it's fine overall, but I just really didn't like it. Felt like it would stick out too much in the cabin. Glad you like it tho for sure.
Coming from Tesla, Mercedes, BMW with fantastic driver assist... having still owned the former with this new Raptor I've had for now 3 months I have a few thoughts.
1. I can't speak for the Ford F150 standard lane centering and adaptive cruise. But the Raptors is really bad, I do not trust it...
This is just what I was told on a 3way call with the salesman/owner.. they essentially said that the rep gave the word all of these Rs will likely be produced identical with the possibility of an exterior color option. I'm assuming it's part constraints talk/lingo going on. That said, it's very...
I'm for sure paying adm. Paid $10k over on this raptor. I will probs pay $15k over on the R. All good tho because they said they will give me market retail less $3500 on my trade so if they're still going for $95k to $105k I actually may make more money off my trade than I paid and be able to...
So I finally got an email update from my sales guy who sold me the 37 Raptor. They were contacted from their Ford Rep to their Owner that they will be getting 1 to order and they will have a 24 hour time line to place the allocation and build. Right now they couldn't tell me for certain if any...
I don't think you know how this works lol. If I'm a high volume dealer, I would also be buying every new Raptor for $15k over to sell it used for $30k+ over.. it is what it is. Hell, and I'm a broken record but the dealer I paid $10k over to called me 3 days later saying they'd buy it back for...
I don't get butt hurt when people put 20s on their Raptor. I do get a little weird about lift kits.. don't really get the point of getting a Raptor and then lifting it but to each their own, I'd never do it personally and honestly if I saw one in person I may question their motive but hey.. some...
The credit is for planning, I pay as close to $0 in tax as possible every single year. The year(s) I've taken possession of a new EV that qualified for the credit I simply ensured I always was on track to owe additional taxes to take advantage. I'll be doing it this year with my Hummer and next...
Just here to read the comments with laughter. Sorry brahs. It's pay to play time. Pony up or peace out.
You don't wanna pay $10k? Too bad for you msrp will be $90k with no material positive changes to the truck in a year or two anyway. I will wait for your thread when you get your future 37...
In person you will not find it "red" I truly feel this is one of those colors where you just can't "get it" until viewed in person. Its 100% Orange. Every pic I have is red looking... hilariously... about a month after I took delivery my 4 yr old was getting into the truck in the bright sun and...
Atlas blue is the only (non-white)color I would trade my code orange for.
The only disappointment for me is that in MY22 they have the black inserts on the seats clearly bargain binning it up in comparison to MY21. Would have loved Atlas Blue with the true blue seats. All good though, love the...
Or.. they are playing dumb in hopes of you backing out because they made the dumb decision to sell at msrp when you can sell for 95k less than 2 seconds after leaving the lot.
The dealer 100% will have contacts and recommendations based on their experiences and uses. Pretty rare for a dealer to not ship a vehicle for the right deal although some for liability reasons simply refuse. Even so, they have the contacts locally who likely deliver all over and if you need to...
Very nice!
Next time I'm flat bedding my truck from the dealer to the detailer.. my 9 hour trek back resulted in 3 paint chips including a 3rd one on the flippen bumper. Boooo
I believe they did it this way purposely to allow people to more easily remember their own dates/patterns numbers. 0-9 allows for more flexibility so while not a sophisticated feature, it was a kind gesture to the masses imo.
Very nice! I wonder how much they'd do on the gen1. I had a black gen1.. been toying with the idea of buying another for nostalgic purposes. It would be fun to have matching colors somewhat from our gen3s
