A couple of pieces may stand out here..
1. Did you buy the 17 Raptor new or used? I ask because pretty much every used Gen2 Raptor is like buying an F80 M3 or GTR in that.. good luck finding one that was stock. Most were chipped or had a pedal commander installed at a minimum.
2. My gen3 37pp...
It's not behind the screen. It's on the passenger side behind about everything ford could think to put it behind. You literally need to tear apart the entire vehicle to get to it on the Bronco and gen3 Raptor.
You're probs F'd honestly(maybe anyway lol).. bring to dealer asap and have them check the API module for faults being thrown out. I had a whole topic going on it on the Bronco forum and it happened to my Raptor as well(which I posted here about).
I ended up selling my first edition ford...
Enjoy your Plat! Although we all know your balls will shrink up into you faster than a deflated puffer fish the first time you pass a gen3 Raptor and pretend not to look while wearing your Oakley shades and 5% limo tint.
Your eyes green with envy will not protect you from my glare. I will look...
Didn't have anyone available to take pics. Family owns 80 acres about 4 hours away that's rarely used. It's about as rough and bumpy as can be and I remember a few years ago coming out with my f150 and driving gingerly about 10mph through the field to where we camp. Never took the gen2 or gen1...
Mine looks new still. Ymmv.. I think to be honest some people are being told the wrap they are paying for... buuuut maybe are not using an honest reputable individual or dealer.
I think its worth it.. but I do get bothered by chips, dings, and swirl marks. I also want to be able to go through a soft-touch carwash every once in a blue moon during the winter to get the dirt off since I don't have a gigantic heated garage. I would never touch a soft-touch carwash ever...
Calm down and be like the 37 that still is a needle in a haystack and sees $10k to $30k markup still even in its stripped down peasant MY22 form? Right.
2008 was an over supply of inventory. How do econ charts support this for 2022? Right now you'd need to triple, perhaps quadruple inventory to meet the present day housing demand.
I'd also add that if someone was going to have trouble making payments on a $90k loan, it does not matter that...
I like how you lombast peoples comprehension of basic global economics while simultaneously not realizing we are already in a recession due to 2 quarters respectively of GDP decline. It's not coming.. its already here.
Move along.
I've already paid my piper.. but I have a guy calling dealers and having no luck. I think he's willing to buy anywhere except CA. Located in the midwest.
Please DM if you have an allocation for an R that can be placed at ADM less than $25k. Thanks!
I don’t think you should buy either. I wouldn't buy a MY22 since it's a peasant stripped down version of the MY21. I also wouldn't own AMB.
If you must pick one.. go used for the better truck and try and get a better deal. If you need to go new.. keep shopping.
Wish that Avalanche was exclusive to the R so that only the master race truck got the master race color. Bummer that I may see peasants driving their msrp 35s around in Avalanche as if they are royalty as well.
I am paying $15k over but also still getting $10k over from original msrp on my 37PP.. the tax savings is a huge benefit to me as well.. it will end up a touch north of a $7000 savings trading in my truck vs selling and buying this R.
Nice to know everything has gone exactly as I've been told for a couple months now.
Right now my biggest dilemma is Code Orange or Avalanche Gray... right now I actually switched to Avalanche on my build but I may chicken out back to Code Orange we'll see how I feel in a couple weeks.
Like I said, I make my statements, I give my opinions. I don't care what anyone else's opinion is unless I ask for it and I don't care if you like my .02 cents or not. It's a peace that I can live with that I wish others could as well. If you think I'm a ******* for saying out loud what others...
Sorry you don't know what you're talking about? I don't care. I've posted another thread on this, doesn't matter - I've only received more info and have been involved with direct conversations with the Ford rep assigning allocations. I have likely more info than I need at this juncture + more...
