Lol! I haven’t frequented the forums as consistently as I have in the past with how all of this has shaken out.
My build moved from a MY23 to a MY24 and they sent me a heated steering wheel delete to which I told them to pound sand no bueno. I will be getting a revision for the ford rep at my...
Yes I do get the benefit of sales tax - however - that means I’d need to accept whatever the dealer Im buying my R from their offer. Beyond that, I do like the idea of giving someone that wants a Raptor a good deal. I’m not stuck on my number, if the right person came forward that really wanted...
Eh. I don’t think so. I paid ADM on my truck, not a lot, but a bit. I’m paying ADM on my R ($8k). At the end of the day, I don’t harp on people who pay extra for what they want. I refused every truck offered to me or that could be ordered when the banks first went online unless it was 37PP and...
I ended up listing for $85k OBO prematurely just to get some feelers out there. Went live this morning so we will see. I would be happy with $80k no doubt. Appreciate the responses!
Going to be selling my Raptor as the R.. is.. allegedly.. on its way so going to go back down to 2 vehicles until it’s here.
I have not been keeping up with any used market sales here. But some info:
Code Orange - 37PP - 2021 model year built in Feb of 2022. 25,600 miles. Two road trips that...
I can change a lot.. but buying you for a nickel would last at least a few minutes.. buying that fugly ass Challengers only benefit would be dropping my property taxes $20k annually at a minimum.
I averaged 17mpg until my return through Nashville at which point for some reason my mileage dipped hard and I ended my trip with a total average of 16.5mpg.
Remember our trucks have a 36 gallon tank.
In normal driving I get about 13mpg.
We got back early in the week from our adventure taking the 3 boys and wife from MN down to FL. Stopping for a couple days in St Louis, Atlanta, Nashville, and Gurnee.
I’ve taken a few different vehicles on long road trips with the family in excess of 2500 miles. This would include:
2020...
Perhaps to no one’s surprise… everything tested fine. Their diagnostics did say it had flashed a lot of error codes on charge system and the electrical but nothing appears to be at fault now. I’ll chalk it up as an anomaly and hope for the best I suppose but I’m going to bring along a portable...
The Hummer EV isn’t green at all. Who said anything about being green? I’ve consumed more barrels of oil in 6 months than you have in 15 years lol get the f out of her dude. I will let you know on the dealer piece :)
More than I get on my 37PP. I average 440. I’m not here to convert, but I do have a huge stable including ordering the “all new GTR” which to be fair isn’t really all new. Also have a Rivian R1S and Hummer EV on order. I put cash into the new DeLorean as well. You don’t have to be a hater on...
For anyone else curious.. I get 330 miles at 85% SOS which is more than both my Jeep and Ascent show at full tank DTE. On full road trips where I took it to Cohasset and back to the TC it made it without charging in 15 degree weather which is over 320 miles round trip.
I think that’s pretty...
Home tonight - had to reset all of the truck settings of course and I decided to turn off auto updates. I got into a dealer about 50 min north that had an appt in a couple days.. inconvenient but I really want it to be looked over before the road trip. First world problems but I don’t want to...
Well as a minor update the battery was brought by my dad to Oreillys and it tested out good and it charged up. They threw it back in the truck and all seems well. No idea what could have caused that significant amount of drain on the battery overnight. I’ll likely call Ford to schedule service...
Oof.. hope it’s not the starter. I’ll have to complain to Ford to get the truck in sooner as we are supposed to head off on a road trip to Orlando from MN the 2nd week of March. I think I’ll have the wife try and get the battery into Autozone and have it charge and tested and go from there. What...
This seems like a possible piece here. I’ve had 2 recent Ford power up updates. Seems annoying to risk the biscuit with it. All my ford dealerships are out like 30+ days on service, I’d imagine a battery issue replacement though should be easy for them. I just thought now that this battery...
Should I just have her go buy a new battery or do these batteries charge well? I had her try and check voltage and it says 8v so guessing it drained hard. That seems wild for it to happen so suddenly though.
Perhaps answered but I’m traveling here. Wife says the Raptor won’t start she just presses the start button and it clicks. She says a loud thumping noise keeps happening from the speakers and the main display says the car will shut off to save the battery if the car doesn’t ignite.
The other...
