The Autostop Eliminator does not plug into the DLC. It can come in that variety, but I ordered the version that plugs into the existing harness behind the dash trim.
I was heading down the iKamper / Tepui RTT path but wanted to be able to set up camp and take the Raptor out without packing up. I started looking at small trailers with a rack but ultimately ended up with an Opus 4 since it was better for a family with 2 small kids...
This is what I get caught up on. $2k for the Diamondback, $500+ for Frontrunner bars and $1k+ for a bedslide. At $3500 it's about the same of an RSI Smart Cap.
I had an MX4 previously and loved it, but I sold it since I needed more storage and it wouldn't work with a rack. I bought a Retrax XR...
What do you do about accessing the bed with the tent on top? Just crawl in from the tailgate?
I have a Retrax and honestly don’t really like it. I’ve been considering the Diamondback with Frontrunner bars/rack but can’t wrap my head around how to make the bars or rack useful when camping if I...
In case it helps anyone else in the future, here’s some images of cleaning the rear speed sensors. Could also be used as a reference for replacing. It didn’t help me here, but I didn’t see any other write ups for it.
Only tool needed is a 10mm socket wrench and maybe a flathead for the red...
All errors are back.
I have an Autostop eliminator and Baja lights installed. Did Forscan updates for folding mirrors and heated steering wheel on screen.
Just checked and Sync is v3.3. Not sure what it was previously but auto update was toggled on. Wonder if it updated recently and started...
Those are codes related to EEC Tests. Image attached.
P0600 means that the ECU has lost the connection with one of its many controllers more than once.
I just Googled those by the way. Someone may have more info on the other acronyms.
Update here. Got it back to MD and ran it through the car wash twice. Removed sensors again and properly blew everything out with a compressor and gun. Ran through the car wash again and when I put it back into drive from neutral after running through power steering and everything was back to...
Good idea. I’ll check tomorrow morning before we head out.
@MIScrEanT good idea. I did set up a service with Ford on Saturday back at home since it’s under warranty but I ordered the sensors in case I get dealer shenanigans and/or to have on hand anyway.
@GCATX i like that idea actually. I’ve...
Good to know. I saw the puddles form after the rain and figured it was just flood water. Guess I won’t be making that mistake again.
I just blew out the sensors and disconnected the battery while doing it. No luck so I guess it’s slug mode back to Maryland. I’ll order the sensors now so...
To elaborate on that, the truck doesn’t really let you do shit when it starts up. Seems like nothing electronic works and it says Service AdvanceTrac. Pressing or holding that button does nothing.
I had the codes read at a mechanic earlier and he was dumbfounded. Nice guy but I quickly realized...
@Clockton thanks for the info. No Power Tank with me since I just got the Up Down Air but I’ll get some compressed air and blow it out.
@hamster @MGA yup, Corolla it is. Tides were on my side last night and will be even better when we leave. Funny thing is one of our friends doesn’t have 4WD so...
I finally got back to the house okay. I was able to get it into 4H and limp back but 4A and 4L would not engage. I had to twist the knob multiple times before 4H kicked in. Nothing in the manual about manually engaging 4x4.
I decided to take a shot at making it back instead of towing it to the...
Waiting on the battery for 20 min now. I wouldn’t be able to get or replace the sensor tonight on vacation. If that doesn’t work it sounds like I’m towing it to a dealership and hoping to catch a ride back to the beach house.
